Standardized Testing This year, SJCS will be doing its schoolwide standardized testing during the week of March 25-28. Tests will be given each morning to students in grades 1-8, so it is imperative that all students are at school during that week. Even though this is the week leading up to Easter Break, please make every effort to have your children in class for their testing time. Thank you for your cooperation.

SJCS Staff Appreciation Week The CPTA will be leading the Annual Staff Appreciation Week, March 18 - 22. Your room parents have sent an email out with the online sign up link, and what a wonderful job your classes have done in signing up to volunteer their time or donate items for the Staff Appreciation Luncheons! Many of the spots have been filled, however we are still lacking in a few areas, especially in coverage for the teachers during lunch and playground duty.

Annual SJCS Spring Auction
Tiger Sports 1st Annual Heritage Soccer Game - Great Success Thursday, March 7 marked the first heritage game for the boys soccer program at SJCS. The current team took on an opposing roster made up of faculty, parents, and alumni. The rain held off, and everyone was able to have a great time. Unlike the tug-of-war competitions at the SJCS Field Days of the past few years, the adults were able to pull off a victory. The game was a great chance to see old friends and have fun as a school and soccer community. It's our hope that each year's graduates will look forward to coming back and participating in this game and staying in touch with San Jose Christian. Thanks to Coach Webb for organizing the event, and thanks to everyone who participated!
