Soccer Results SJCS 5 – Legacy 2 The Tigers are really shaping up and posted another 5-goal game. Nico got his first goal of the season and was long over due. Zach added 2 goals, and one was setup nicely by Isaiah. Blake held down the middle of the field again like a general and set up Isaiah for a beautiful score. After adding a goal of his own, Blake’s game was over, and he handed over the middle of the field to his teammates. SJCS 3 – LGCS 1 In this contest, Los Gatos jumped to an early lead, but the Tigers had plenty of opportunities, because of some great passing. The passing was really accentuated by the constant pressure we put on the LGCS defense. The game really turned on a hat trick by Isaiah whose aggressive pressure swung the contest in our favor. Levi, Toby, and Blake anchored the Tiger defense and prevented Los Gatos from adding any scores to their early goal. SJCS 6 – Legacy 2 The second game against Legacy looked to be a little different with a few Tiger players missing the action to rehearse for our play, Romeo and Juliet, (coming up Friday and Saturday, March 23-24). But even with an altered squad on the field, the result was the same. Nico scored his second goal of the season, and Zach and Isaiah both tallied two. Blake also scored on a great chip shot. The 6-goal total was the best output of the season so far. With only two games left, the team looks like it is clicking on all cylinders.
