Extended Care Leader
SJCS on the Radio Today, Mr. Meester is going to record an episode of a new Christian Education radio show on KFAX (AM 1100) called “Every Square Inch.” He will be talking about the role technology should play in Christian education. “Every Square Inch” airs on Saturday mornings at 10:30am, and we will let all of you know when this episode will air so that you can tune in to listen.
Synamon Reeves has done a great job leading our extended care program and our summer camps for the past several years. While she will still run our summer program, her role on campus is expanded this year, and she will no longer be in charge of extended care. We are looking for a passionate qualified replacement for this position to oversee the care of students who are dropped off before 8am or stay on campus after 3:15pm. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Meester.
High School Information for 8th Grade Families Each fall, private high schools in the area host Open House events, Shadow Days for students to come try out the campus, and other informational meetings. Some schools send representatives to our campus at lunch times to tell our students about their programs as well. As we receive information about upcoming events, we will publish it for our school families. So far this year, we have heard from Valley Christian High School. Scott Wessling, the Director of Admissions will be giving a lunchtime presentation on Thursday, 9/20 at 11:45am in our auditorium for middle school students interested in learning more about what VCHS has to offer.
