October 13 SJCS Annual Walk-a-Thon

Preschool News Please note that Preschool will be open October 4 and 5.

Walk-A-Thon 2012 The date of this year's Walk-A-Thon is Saturday October 13. Many parent volunteers are working hard to create a spectacular event that is fun for your whole family, even those special grandparents, aunt and uncles, and friends. Here are a few things to consider regarding the WAT this week: • Towards the end of this week your child(ren) will be receiving a packet of information about the WAT. Please read this information carefully, and be on the lookout for items that require a parent's signature. • Sign-ups for volunteering on the day of the WAT is available on line. Keep an eye out for and email from your room parents, and consider how you can help on the day of the WAT. • The WAT is the major student driven fund raiser that SJCS undertakes each year. With this one awesome event, we help to fund multi-day field trips, JK-3 field trips, sports, music, and other student activities. What a great way to positively impact your child(ren)'s experience at SJCS! Page 2
