School News
The strategic discussion covered marketing, Recycling at SJCS which stemmed from the “recommend” area of focus identified in our community survey distributed at the end of last year. Trustees read articles and considered questions about: Strategic marketing plans (both internal and external); Defining marketing as a systematic, client-centered approach; Defining the school’s competitive advantage as a proactive way to set ourselves apart from other schools; and Creative ways to demonstrate programmatic success.
This year, the Student Council members have been leading the recycling program here at SJCS. The students take the recyclables to a processing center and redeem them for money which will go to fund cancer research. To participate in these efforts, please bring your plastic and glass bottles and aluminum cans to room 20 (Mrs. Coetsee's room). You may also just drop them off next to the dumpster in the parking lot.

SJCS Choir to Serve the City of Campbell The Campbell Chamber of Commerce works every year to raise money and donated toys for the less fortunate children of Campbell and surrounding areas. This year, their efforts will culminate in a benefit night at Nordahl Hall in Los Gatos, and the Chamber has asked the SJCS Choir to perform at the event. We are excited to serve our community and share the love of Christ in this way, and we look forward to participating. The benefit night is scheduled for Thursday, December 6 from 5pm – 8pm.
