Chess for Starters

Co-ed Chess class is designed for students with no experience and provides for a strong foundation in the rules & strategies needed to play the game of chess Students of the class can also participate in training games with other participants In addition to learning the fundamentals of chess, this class will promote the growth and development of skills in concentration, logic, decision making, planning, and self-discipline.

Public Speaking- Building Public Speaking Confidence

This course teaches young students the essentials of building confidence in public speaking Taught using the fun concepts of (don’t) show and tell, storytelling (scary and funny stories!), reciting poems, pretend games, this is an excellent class to start developing confidence in young students in a fun way The participants learn how to stand tall and speak confidently in front of a group They begin to understand the concepts and importance of maintaining eye contact, good posture, volume and expressions

Chess Advanced

Co-ed Chess class is designed for students who were in a previous Starters class or with some knowledge and teaches important opening concepts, recognition of tactical themes, calculation of material exchanges, and elementary endgame Students of the class can also participate in training games with other participants In addition to learning the fundamentals of chess, this class will promote the growth and development of skills in concentration, logic, decision making, planning, and self-discipline

Public Speaking and Debate Skills

Confidence breeds success! In any field, whether it is academics, music or sports people who have talent as well as confidence are the ones who become successful “It is as important to be convincing as it is to be right ” Students learn to present with confidence, use emotion, and connect with the audience fluently by doing narratives, news reporting, campaign speeches, tonguetwisters, debates, and town hall presentations on thoughtprovoking and interesting topics! We make it a fun learning enviorement where everyone can participate, the shy students and talkative ones alike will benefit and learn from this class

SUMMER IS HERE!! We have been waiting all year for summer We have a jam-packed summer of fun drawings for you! We kick it off with something you see in the ocean, a lobster, and to keep the theme going we head to the beach and draw a beach scene Then we get to draw something you need to wear to the beach – a bathing suit The fun doesn’t stop there, we are going medieval and learning to draw a castle and a crown and a shield to protect us from the dragon This summer is going to be HOT and fun, grab your friends and jump right in! Sketch and Friends- Spy Detective

Operation Creativity is in full effect! Join Young Rembrandts for a 5 day drawing workshop; we’ll be drawing and coloring all things SPIES! Artists will learn to draw cartoon characters with all the trappings of super-secret spies and daring detectives Each day is a new mission and students will complete multiple drawings like spy outfits, detective gadgets, a secret hideout and more legendary art Don’t get burned, register your kids today!
