For nearly a century, art has been thriving in the Stanwood and Camano Island communities. For over a quarter of that time the talented artists in our region have been coming together to show their art to the public at Art by the Bay.
The first Art by the Bay was held in 1994 at the Utsalady Grocery Store. Twenty three artists participated that first year. It was a huge success. This roaming annual event has been held at the Camano Country Club, School grounds, the Stanwood Fairgrounds and in downtown Stanwood. This year we are again pleased to present the event inside at the Camano Center.
Join the Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild in celebrating 29 years of art with our Fall Holiday Art and Gift Show, just in time for the holidays. Drop by, visit with the artists, and take home a one-of -a kind Art Treasure. We hope to see you there.
Since 1993 the Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild has been helping artists develop their artistic skills by providing opportunities to create, show, and sell their work. Faces have changed over the years but we are still helping artists grow and do our best to promote the arts in our community.
