FArm profiles Type: Dairy with creamery. Premises: 350-cow (Holstein, Jersey and Guernsey) dairy farm with views of Mt. Baker, Anacortes and Lummi Island. Farmstead cheese, butter and retail store. history: Vic Jensen and Sons Dairy began in 1967, moved to its present location in 1978 and Vic and Judy have farmed their entire married life. Vic started as a milker on the farm. Son, Doug, now operates the farm, along with a custom heifer-raising business on the premises. Golden Glen Creamery started in 2004 by making artisan and farmstead cheese and is currently operated by the family. In 2006, the Creamery began making butter. In 2011, the farm and creamery were sold to new owners who retained the Jensen family as managers. With the new partnerships, the farm and creamery have been growing and prospering.
