Roving Entertainment at the Fair

At the Fair, entertainment isn’t reserved only for when you’re parked at one of our stages. Our roving entertainers ensure that you are entertained even as you walk around the fairgrounds. We have three wonderful, roving acts joining us in 2021. Keep an eye out for all of them! tHe Dino crew wednesday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. thursday-saturday: 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Dino Crew will be bringing its dinosaur entertainment back to the Skagit County Fair this year! The Dino Crew specializes in bringing “the dinosaur theme” to life! Fair goers will be surprised by the details in the car-sized mechanical dinosaur suits and how realistic they can be. There will be one LG Dino and another roaming the grounds looking for friends to play with. There will also be several small baby Dinos coming out to interact with fair goers. Despite their ferocious looks and intimidating roars, the dinosaurs have super likable personalities, and they are great with people of all ages! For the 2–5-year old’s they can act like a gentle puppy, or for the older ones they can behave like a wild dinosaur.

wren tHe Juggler wren will be strolling the fairgrounds a portion of each day tBD while also performing on the community stage.

Wren the Juggler has been juggling for years, both delighting audiences with high energy, fun, funny acts and also annoying downstairs neighbors with late night practicing (sorry, Steve). Wren comes at juggling and circus from a technical and analytical angle. The mathematical patterns and possibilities of the various props have served as his inspiration to develop acts that both technically delight and make audiences roar with laughter. A local to Skagit County, Wren has performed at libraries, festivals, parties and more. His juggling has created many smiling interactions wherever he roams...because it is juggling and how can that not make everyone smile?

Matt Henry is a multi-talented performer and entertainer. He honed his comedy juggling act over many years, which he will be performing at the Fair. Not content to rest on his laurels, though, Matt also developed a completely different performance, called the Big Bubble Show. After following a recipe for homemade “bubble juice” he found online in 2012, his initial efforts created such fascination and joy in onlookers that he knew he had to make it part of the act. Since then, he has brought his giant bubbles to events across North America, delighting children and the young-at-heart with his spectacular creations! You will not want to miss Matt’s strolling giant bubble entertainment!
