YEE PARTICIPATION EXPERIENCE

“I enjoyed it a lot through their activities and the speakers they have invited! The first two speakers are my favorite ones, but I related to the last one the most since I am an aspiring financial advisor. It was interesting to learn about the different types of entrepreneurs based on their “Whys” and their approaches, the business model canvass, which is a must for aspiring entrepreneurs, and learning also how and why we should get ourselves out there, whether it be for our business our side hustles. It was also fun to exchange ideas with my co-participants in the breakout room, where we discussed how to sustain a business during a pandemic.

I am glad that there are these kinds of webinars for the youth by the youth since it is high time for us to talk about these things: money matters. It has been part of the Filipino Overall,

Culture to not talk about money unless it’s "utang" (or debt), which I find difficult since we have to talk about it more freely to manage it well. As an advocate for financial literacy, I support this webinar series and would gladly invite more to introduce to them how to manage our relationship with money.

Daghang salamat sa opportunity, SKBP! More power and stay safe.”

You will engage with other youths all over the Philippines, learn from speakers who are way too far experienced in life, and share insights and evaluate specific topics in the group. You will not regret participating in SKBP modules.” The event overall is fun, educational, and interactive.

All the knowledge being served was worth remembering but let me sum up with you everything with these beautiful words I’ve heard from the event. “You don’t need a lot of money to become financially independent, successful, and happy.” All you need to learn is how you’re going to manage the things you have, such as your skills, talents, and other resources, and make them work for you. Above all, if your goal is to be successful, you must have a fitting personality that will bring you there. If you want to be rich, you should start acknowledging your weaknesses and

Those were the things that I can bring with me always as I keep learning. We, the Young Marketers Association, are looking forward to a lot of activities like this to engage ourselves as to become fully equipped with the wisdom we need.”
