Sketchbook Crafts’ Studio
Amber Jensen was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and currently lives in Eugene, Oregon. She received a BFA in drawing from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Since then, she has traveled to New Zealand to work on a bucolic sheep farm, inspiring the creation of her own line of bespoke wool, waxed canvas and leather knapsacks. Each piece has been designed and sewn into prototypes, then modified in order to find a perfect balance of durability, style and functionality. Every pack is handmade with very fine attention to detail using quality materials. Drawing inspiration from 1800’s and early 1900’s mountaineering gear, owning a Sketchbook pack is like taking a step back to a simpler time.
The Rucksack The rucksack is built for durability, function and style. Designed to be waterproof, this pack is made to stand up to the outdoor elements. The rucksack is made of olive waxed canvas, duck cloth and red latigo leather.

The Camper Satchel is designed with quality, comfort, durability and style in mind. The allure of waxed canvas is that it is one of the oldest ways of waterproofing fabric. It is extremely beautiful because of its utilitarian qualities.
The Camper Satchel is now available in red waxed canvas with natural leather, grey waxed canvas with natural leather, or tan canvas with dark red latigo leather.
Wool Felt Camper A backpack made of thick wool felt offers more comfort and protects your valuables from the outdoor elements. Made of merino wool felt and waxed canvas, this bag is tough enough to hold up to heavy use.

THE pannier The Pannier is designed in collaboration between Sketchbook and bicycle framebuilder, Brad Wilson of Capricorn Bicycles (www.capricornbicycles.com). This unique design combines durable and waterproof waxed canvas with stainless steel hardware and oak wood internal structure.
The Pannier is available in grey waxed canvas with natural leather, black waxed canvas with black leather, and tan waxed canvas with dark red latigo leather.
The Wayfarer This classic backpack is designed for performance and durability. It is sophisticated in style with a rustic waxed canvas base and wooly body. The Wayfarer is available in dark brown wool with red latigo leather.
