liniLED® Introduction

The liniLED® Aeris range consists of several durable, aluminium (anodised) profiles, which are fit for almost every indoor and outdoor LED lighting project. Available as profiles or as ‘plug & play’ lighting fixture (IP67).

Specialised in custom made solutions (OEM) The liniLED® System is a concept which consists of high quality, flexible LED strips (IP20, IP40, IP68), stainless steel walkover and drive over lighting fixtures (IP68), LED based handrail (stainless steel, IP40/IP65) and various accessories. In other words: one stop shopping for all your projects! Due to the high quality, innovative technology and smart design, the liniLED® System is ideal for high end projects in various sectors, such as: maritime, architecture, infrastructure, construction, health and the entertainment industry.

liniLED® Handrail The liniLED® Handrail (IP40/IP65) is a revolutionary handrail system which has the same light benefits as a LED fixture: energy efficient with an expected lifetime of more than 50,000 hours. The liniLED® Handrail is available in several shapes: rectangular, square and round (incl. fully integrated liniLED® Top LED strips).

liniLED® Vesti The liniLED® Vesti (IP40) is a dimmable stainless steel LED based closet rod, designed to provide functional lighting. Equipped with a diffuse cover and a high quality liniLED® luminaire, the liniLED® Vesti emits a beautiful homogenous light effect. Available in a square and round shape in colour temperatures from 2400K up to 6500K.

liniLED® Forta/ Spots The liniLED® Lights contains two different IP68 lighting fixtures: liniLED® Forta and liniLED® Spots. As the liniLED® LED strips are fully integrated in each product, an optimal light effect can be guaranteed.*

liniLED® Accessories The liniLED® System can be completed with several accessories, such as: mounting profiles, aluminium profiles for diffused light, stair profiles, connection materials, dimmer switches, (RGB) controllers and power supplies. The accessories are divided in three product groups: liniLED® Mounting, Control and Power. *Available in four luminous intensities: Deco, Power, High Power and Photon 1200. liniLED® Mounting

The liniLED® System can be installed on flat and/or curved surfaces. In this chapter you will find more information about the several mounting options, including an overview of all available profiles.

Besides the mounting products, the liniLED® assortment offers an extensive range of aluminium profiles, such as: liniLED® Line Profiles (20 mm and 40 mm), Stair Profiles (direct and indirect) and Wall-/ floor Profiles (direct).

The liniLED® LED strips can be mounted in various ways. The liniLED® U-Profile and the liniLED® Alu U-Profile are ideal for linear installation. In case of a curved surface, the liniLED® Saddle (incl. tie wrap) offers the perfect mounting solution.

All profiles are available in standard lengths of 1, 2, 3 and 4 metres. Other lengths up to 6 metres are available on request.

liniLED® Handrail | Durable, luxurious & smart design The stainless steel (AISI 316L) liniLED® Handrail is a revoluionary LED based handrail system that provides functional lighting for a safe environment. Due to the integrated liniLED® Top LED strips (24 V DC), the liniLED® Handrail has the same light benefits as a LED fixture: energy efficient with an expected lifetime of more than 50,000 hours. Ideal for long lasting, high-end indoor and outdoor (IP65) handrail solutions in various sectors, such as: architecture, infrastructure, construction, health and the entertainment industry.

Indoor & outdoor The liniLED® Handrails are available in several shapes: rectangular, square and round (Ø42.4 mm and Ø48.3 mm). The maximum unit length of the handrail is 6 metres and can easily be connected mechanically or by welding. All handrails can be applied indoor and outdoor. However, the round 48.3 mm handrail is recommended for outdoor projects.

Step 1: LED strip | Luminous intensity & colour The liniLED® Handrail is illuminated with the liniLED® Top LED strips. These LED strips are available in three luminous intensities (Deco, Power and High Power) and various colours. Go to page 12 for more information about the liniLED® Top LED strips.

Step 2: Environment | Indoor or outdoor The liniLED® Handrails are available in several shapes: rectangular, square and round. All handrails can be applied indoor and outdoor. However the 48.3 mm is recommended for outdoor projects.

Easy installation & continuous line of light

Step 3: Cover | Clear or frosted

The liniLED® Handrail components are designed for quick and easy installation and maintenance. All necessary parts which are required are readily available, such as: cables, connectors, profiles, brackets, adapters and couplers. Thanks to the smart design of the profiles, the power cables are fully integrated in the brackets and adapters. The special liniLED® Handrail couplers ensure a continuous light line, without any interruption.

The liniLED® Handrail is standard delivered with a cover. Thanks to the cover, the liniLED® Top LED strip is protected against violence and/or damage. Depending on the desired light effect, you can choose between two types of covers: clear or frosted.

Important! Consult a professional handrail installer, a licensed architect and/or structural engineer. Dimensions usually vary from the architectural plan, thus it is important that actual field dimensions are used. Take notice of the local rules and guide lines, as they can vary in each region or country. Therefore, the spacing/height of the post and wall bracket must also be determined by a (local) licensed architect or structural engineer. Consult an electrical installer or lighting designer to obtain the best possible light result.

Step 4: Angles | Standard or customised There are three standard angles for the liniLED® Handrails: 45°, 90° and 120°. Other angles can be customised upon request, for instance: ADA compliant. (ADA= The Americans with Disabilities Act).

Clear or frosted covers The liniLED® Handrail comes with a cover. Depending on the desired light effect, you can choose between a clear or frosted cover. When using the clear cover, the light dots of the liniLED® LED strip are visible. In case a more ‘diffuse’ light effect is desired, the frosted cover is the right choice. By using the frosted cover, the light dots of the LED strip are ‘blurred’. The higher the luminous intensity of the strip, the more ‘diffuse’ the light effect will be. Regardless of which cover you choose: the liniLED® LED strips in the handrail are secured.

In addition, the assortment provides a number of tools that can be used to optimise the installation of the product. Visit our website for the full manual: www.liniLED.com. Installation process: (1) Lay the cables on the desired location and place the mounting profile on the surface. (2) Use the coupler to align the mounting profiles. (3) Place the dummies on the mounting profiles. Complete the desired flooring. (4) Remove the dummies by using the remove tool. (5) Connect the lighting fixture to the connector and place it on the mounting profile.

liniLED速 Power To support the liniLED速 System, a number of stabilised 24 V DC IP20, IP40 and IP64 power supplies have been selected. The selection is complemented with several IP65 and IP67 power supplies and IP66 power boxes. Calculation You can select the right power supply by multiplying the number of metres with the wattage per metre. The maximum connection length must not be exceeded. We advise an extra 10% safety margin to include in the calculation of the power consumption. Example 12 m liniLED速 Natural White 4000K Power 12 m x 4.1 W/m x 110% = 54.1 W 75 W power supply.
