Student Check-In Online/ Move In

Stop at the Office of Residential Life (Annex Building) to pick-up your ID card. Complete the Express Check-In online through your OKTA account (in the Residential Life Housing Portal tile). The Express Check-In page will have directions to check-in. Your ID card should be active about 5 minutes after you complete the check-in and give you access to your residence hall and room.

Vehicle Registration

If you have not already registered your vehicle, you can do so by filling out the form online at: skidmore.edu/campus_safety/vehicles/index.php.

Bicycle Registration

If you plan to have a bicycle on campus you must register the bicycle with Campus Safety. Registration takes place in-person at the Campus Safety office in the Annex during the first weeks of the semester.

Private Lessons

Private instruction is available for all the instruments listed in the course catalog. Visit the following link to complete the form to request a private lesson. https://www.skidmore.edu/music/curriculum/handbook/b.php.

Some private lessons may require auditions to determine placement with the appropriate instructor. Auditions are generally held during the first week of classes.

Please note: Private lessons cost $660 for a semester of 45-minute lessons or $880 for a semester of 60-minute lessons. If you are interested but private lessons are not in your budget, please apply for a lesson scholarship.
