Artist Spotlight
When visiting Peter Krasnow: Breathing Joy and Light , take time to listen to the music playing in the gallery.
LA-based dublab DJs Alejandro Cohen and Mark
“Frosty” McNeill created a custom soundtrack just for the exhibition! Featuring Jewish Ukrainian folk songs, transcendent tonal compositions, and nature sounds, the sonic contours trace Krasnow’s own spirited artistic expressions. By pointing to the multilayered references in Krasnow’s paintings, Ale and Frosty’s musical collage aims to prompt a deeper engagement with the artwork on view.
