Tell me about your blog, Leopard Milkshake. Leopard Milkshake is a site I came up with a year ago. I didn't really know in what direction I wanted to take the blog until my good friend Torr joined the team and its been magic since. LMS is now a lifestyle, art and fashion based site where we both state our opinions on fashion, house collections, and fashion editorials. It's also a place where we post our personal style photos along with street-style photographs of random fashion savvy individuals we find gracing the many cities we visit. What influences your style outside of fashion? Any and every little thing can influence my personal style. I’m really inspired by different metals and the movement of water. What’s your most versatile piece? I own a black leather jacket from Top Shop that I feel goes with everything I put on. I wear it a little too much, but hey, who’s counting? Describe your “What was I thinking?!” outfit. Though most, if not all, of my high school get-ups were tragic I would have to say cargo shorts, suspenders, a black polo, a bow tie and vans make up one of my worst outfits to date. Who is truly a fashion icon in your eyes? Why? I would honestly have to say my fashion icons are Grace Jones, Lady Gaga, and my great grandmother. I never met my great grandmother but when I'm shown photographs of her I am really inspired. She was extremely chic and I feel that I am somewhat living through her. Grace Jones and Lady Gaga are my icons for countless reasons. They are both walking pieces of art. What’s your “go to” store/site? Oak NYC, Beacon’s Closet, and Top Shop, but not the men’s department. Some of the girl pieces at Top Shop can be worn in a masculine way. I also do a lot of thrift store shopping at Village Thrift. I don’t really do a lot of online shopping but when i do, it’s on Ebay. When putting the day’s outfit together, is there a specific process you go through? I usually pick out what pants I want to wear first, because of the weather, then I select the shoes. Everything else just falls into place. What trend do you love / do you hate? I love the strong shoulder trend and i HATE the UGG trend.

What
responses do you get about your appearance when in public? I don’t really get too many verbal responses, more or less just a lot of crazy stares. When I do get verbal responses, believe it or not, they are usually compliments. Three songs you play the most? Lady Gaga- “Teeth”, Florence and the Machine - “The Dog Days Are Over”, and Toni Braxton - “I Hate Love”. These three songs and artists always get my days started right! I love upbeat artist that can slow down and give me something i can vibe to. Describe your style with one color and one flavor. BLACKMANGO. Reason being is because my favorite color is black and my favorite fruit is... yup, you guessed it. Grapes.
