Out of an inborn commitment to pour back into the community, The ELOCEN Group Foundation (EGF) serves to strengthen, inspire, and empower families, particularly teen mothers and AfricanAmerican males raised in single-parent households. Our mission is to foster and promote life-skills training, implement workforce development programs, and encourage educational advancement. EGF is a registered 501(c) (3). To date, EGF has sponsored over $500,000 in scholarships, endowments, trainings, educational empowerment, and small business support through multiple charities.

Egf Initiatives

The Harvest 2021 Thanksgiving Drive – provided 1,000 Thanksgiving meal packages for families in need within the National Capitol Region (NCR). Over 30 sta and volunteers came together to package and distribute meal packages for pickup and delivery throughout the local communities.

2020 HBCU C-Suite – EGF partnered with BYOBlive to create the HBCU C-Suite platform to help establish a more diverse talent pipeline in digital media and cybersecurity for 250+ HBCU students.

The Harvest 2020 Thanksgiving Drive – supported schools within the DCPS and PGCPS communities by providing 500 Thanksgiving meal packages for families in need.

2019/2020 Tyrod Taylor T2 Community Day –partnered with the NFL Quarterback Tyrod Taylor to sponsor his “2019 T2 Community Day.” T2 is an annual event hosted by his Tyrod Taylor Foundation giving back to the youth and families in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area where he grew up.

2018 Virginia Union University – philanthropic support to Virginia Union University through their Virginia Union College for African American Women (VCAAW) and Virginia Union College for African American Men (VCAAM) organizations.

2018 BYOB (Build Your Own Brand) Summit & Retreat

– assisted BYOB with financial sponsorship for its 2018 Annual Retreat. BYOB is a community of CREATORS for CREATORS, a modern-day production house, networking hub, and educational platform for Black and Brown Creators in Entrepreneurship.

2017 Virginia Union University – Jordan McKnight Scholarship Endowment - EGF Founder Necole Parker announced a gift of $100,000 to establish the Jordan McKnight Scholarship Endowment during Virginia Union University’s (her alma mater) 5th Annual Scholarship Gala and Masquerade Ball in 2017.

2016 1 Million to Achieve for 1,000 to Succeed – EGF has worked to provide a total of $1 Million dollars in scholarships (One Thousand, $1,000 scholarships for 1,000 students) to help children and young adults in underserved communities further their education by attending college.
