Shred Stixx Wakesurf Company was founded by sport pioneer Jerry Price in 1999 out of Discovery Bay, CA. Jerry was born into a life of surfing at time when Venice Beach, CA aka Dogtown was the center of both a cultural and ocean surfing movement in much the same way wakesurfing has defined todays inland surf invasion. As the original wakesurf company, Shred Stixx has been the leading developer and manufacturer of premium, hand shaped and glassed wakesurf boards since 1999. With a surfing philosophy strongly rooted in the ocean, our boards are designed to offer the closest simulation to ocean surfing and the ability to obtain the necessary drive for big air wakesurfing. At Shred Stixx we have over 30 years of board development experience and refined our construction technique to include the highest level of quality and environmental awareness.

Board Description:
The Skywalker is a refinement of our Nano model (the first high performance surf style wakesurfer designed for light wieght riders). The Skywalker was designed with the progressive rider in mind and is driven with a three fin thruster set up. It has the lowest volume of any Shred Stixx design making it particularly suitable for youth and lighter weight riders, and features a fuller overall template ending in a sharply attenuated single winged swallow tail. This short, bullet style outline is perfect for rail to rail transitions in the pocket, making the Skywalker extremely nimble behind the boat.

The Ringer is new to the Shred Stixx quiver for 2013. However, it has been in development with the Skywalker for over 3 years by Team Shaper Nick Wiersema. The Ringer is your ace in the hole, for effortless on demand speed, with the ever popular signature Shred Stixx diamond nose for improved revert stability and maneuverability. A low entry rocker and shallow single concave culminate to funnel water and air past the twinzer-style fin set up and out an aggressive modified wing tail for improved lift and release.

Board Description:
The Semi Pro is the evolution of last season’s Pro Model. This shape has been fine tuned with each new board by Nick Wiersema. For 2013 the quad fin set up has been refined for maximum drive down the line. This design combines an aggressive mix of single and double concaves with a bottom channel between the fins and out the signature Shred Stixx wing tail for improved flow and easy release off the lip. The deck of the board has a progressive step for increased volume allowing the riders to stay in the wave after big airs and tricks. The Semi Pro is a proven world championship winning design that sets the standard for high performance surf style wakesurfing.

Board Description:
The Headband owes its roots to one of the original Shred Stixx models and includes a performance swallowtail, narrowed nose and thruster fin set up. The Headband features a comparatively wide outline and significantly more volume than the Semi Pro for increased floatation for larger riders or those looking for a bit more stability in their ride. The Headband was designed to bridge the gap between the performance board and fun cruiser.

Board Description:
The Airstream is a Shred Stixx classic that has been updated for 2013 with a new tail configuration, five fin boxes, and a refined template and rocker profile. This board offers a true surf style ride to the widest range of skill levels and weight classes. The five fin boxes allows the board to be ridden as a quad for hard driving aerial maneuvers, or a thruster, twin or single fin. The Airstream offers the signature Shred Stixx drive and allows all riders to stay in the wave and sharpen their wakesurf skills. The Airstream is also at home in the ocean, truly versatile board.
