2022 ANNUAL CONCERT FUNDRAISER The Charitable Foundation’s Fundraiser Raises $10,000 to Benefit Local Non-Profit Organizations To support its ongoing commitment to bettering the communities it calls home, the Charitable Foundation of Slifer Smith & Frampton (SSF) hosted its third annual Concert Fundraiser on June 18, 2022. A packed house at the Ten Mile Music Hall raised $10,000 for five local non-profit organizations thanks to the largest silent auction to date with donations from 35 local businesses. More than 250 people of all ages enjoyed live entertainment by the high-energy premier party band Ronnie Raygun and the Big Eighties with all ticket sale proceeds going directly to the five local Summit County charities. “Not only was the concert a blast, Smart Bellies is lucky to receive a portion of the proceeds. These funds will be used to purchase nutritious, kid-friendly food to fill our weekend bags,” said Sarah Schmidt, co-founder of Smart Bellies. “Smart Bellies is extremely grateful for SSF’s continued commitment to fight childhood hunger in our community.” “To celebrate, people dressed in their best 80s gear so there was a lot of big hair and acid washed jeans, and it was just a great night of dancing and fun,” said Amanda Johnson, SSF Operations and Staff Manager. The Foundation’s community concert fundraiser was first held in June 2019, and again in August 2021. Each event has raised around $10,000 for local non-profit organizations, a fundraising goal that was met again this year. This year’s event benefitted Building Hope, Summit Advocates, Keystone Science School, The Cycle Effect and Smart Bellies. The Foundation’s community partners — Land Title, Alpine Bank, Breckenridge Grand Vacations, Vail-Summit Orthopedics & Neurosurgery, Colorado Angler, Breckenridge Distillery, Summit Mountain Rentals, and Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate — have stepped up to collectively cover event costs, which enabled all ticket sale proceeds to go directly to local charities.
