150th Anniversary of the SDA Church: Today, Sligo joins the world church in commemorating 150 years since the initial organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. A Ministry for Crafters: Do you sew, crochet or knit? Our project to make blankets and hats for babies born prematurely in the Mother and Baby unit at Washington Adventist Hospital is still ongoing. We invite all youth to join us for Sligo Underground at 11:15 a.m. today. Pastor Pranitha Fielder will be speaking about “What Does Being an Adventist Mean?” At 1:45 p.m. we will be hiking to Great Falls after service. Lunch will be provided. Casual dress is acceptable for service.

Church Budget: This offering pays for the outreach and

nurture ministries of the church and the church school, along with necessary expenses such as utilities and maintenance of the church building. Last Year: May 12 $ 7,887.40 May 12 YTD $167,061.14

Promenade: Sometimes it’s hard to be an Adventist in public high schools and other private schools, especially when functions and Sabbath clash. That is why Sligo created a Promenade to celebrate our high school seniors! This special event will take place May 26. Visit www.sligochurch.org for more information.
