I’m sure that many of you are familiar with the process of skywriting, where through the use of a small plane, smoke is expelled which enables the pilot to create messages in the sky which can be viewed by those on the ground. Since 1915, Skywriting has been used to create messages that range from the advertising of a particular product to that of a marriage proposal. In Matthew 16 Jesus rebukes the religious leaders of his day by telling them that although they have the ability to read the messages in the sky, they are still unable to read the signs of their times. As you worship with us today, our prayer is that your awareness of “these” signs will be made clearer than ever before in my message titled, “Skywriting.”
