The services in the Sanctuary Administrative Board Meeting, Fellowship Hall A, 7:00 p.m. today are led by Dr. Mikhail Kulakov, Jr., who is on a five-year Regeneration Ministries, Office Conference Room, 7:00 p.m. sabbatical (2010-2015) to complete the translation of the Bible into Russian. Summary of our Beliefs

• The Bible is the inspired word of God and our only rule of

faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17). • Jesus Christ is the Divine Son of God and our personal Savior from sin by grace through faith. (John 1:1-3; Ephesians 2:8). • Having been saved, followers of Jesus live in obedience to Him by observing the Ten Commandments. (Exodus 20: 1-17; John 14:15). • The Sabbath – the seventh day of the week- established by God at creation and honored by Jesus in His earthly ministry, is to be observed by the followers of Jesus. (Exodus 20:8-11; 1 Peter 2:21). • Jesus is coming back to earth personally and visibly to raise the righteous dead and give His faithful children of all ages immortality in an earth made new. (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Revelation 22:12; 21:1-3). • Our love for God is demonstrated primarily by our love for our fellowmen. (1 John 4:20; Matthew 25:34-40)

Leading our music today are: Patrick Alston, organist Desmond Pierre-Louis, chorister Katia Tomenko, soloist Mark Di Pinto, pianist Sligo Sanctuary Choir Jon Gilbertson, director Desmond Pierre-Louis, baritone soloist Footnotes: Mark DiPinto & Katia Tomenko met while students at Washington Adventist University. After graduating, Mark completed his doctorate at the Eastman School of Music & Katia earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Together, they have toured with the New England Youth Ensemble. They have three lovely children, Anna-Sophia, Daniel and Isabella. Mark is currently on the music department faculty at Washington Adventist University and Katia is a practicing doctor of dentistry in Silver Spring, MD. Born in Russia, Dr. Mikhail Kulakov, Jr. led in the development of theological higher education for the Adventist Church in the former USSR. He founded Zaoksky Theological Seminary and served as its first president and professor of Theology. He currently teaches in the religion department at WAU and is director and editor in chief of the Russian Bible Translation Institute. He holds a D. Phil. in theology from Oxford University. His wife, Lyudmila, is a strong supporter of his ministry. They are both proud parents and doting grandparents. He earned two degrees from Washington Adventist University, a B.S. in Computer Science and B.A. in Music. He received his master’s degree in viola performance from the Peabody Conservatory and has concertized throughout the US, Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia and the West Indies. He is one of our Adult Sabbath School Superintendents. Maybell Laluna has been a member of Sligo Church for almost 10 years. She is a Project Manager and Architect at Wiencek and Associates, an architecture firm specializing in socially responsible and sustainable design solutions. She is the Director of Sligo Children’s Church and enjoys volunteering, travel, and is the proud mother of Isabella Laluna Thompson.
