ANNOUNCEMENTS (continued)
welcome
Welcome to Sligo. When faced with a difficult situation, regardless of its nature, my mother’s counsel was always the same: “Antoine, take it April 16, Saturday to the Lord in prayer.” You see, my mother was a Young Adults GLOW, Memorial Chapel, 9:30 a.m. woman of prayer and she always felt that our first Children’s Choir Rehearsal, Choir Room, 1:15 p.m. response to whatever challenge we faced should April 17, Sunday be to give it to God. Her advice stayed with me and continues to Pathfinder’s Meeting, Office Chapel, 9:00 a.m. guide me. Whenever I find myself faced with one of life’s many Ministry Leaders Council, Fellowship Hall A, 10:00 a.m. challenges, I can still hear her words ringing in my ear. What do you do when you find yourself at a crossroads in life? Do April 18, Monday you find prayer to be the one thing that helps you to navigate Regeneration Ministries, Office Conference Room, 7:30 p.m. through life’s tumultuous waters, or do you view it as a waste of Administrative Board Meeting, Fellowship Hall A, 7:00 p.m. precious time? - Charles A. Tapp
