ABOUT ME
Currently, I'm a student of architecture who is doing the BSc architecture degree program at the school of architecture, SLIIT. I gained invaluable experience working on projects of various types and sizes throughout my first year Teamwork and independent project management gave me a complete understanding of the design stages
I view my time as an undergraduate as a treasured and valued time that brought about the opportunity to improve my creative skills as a chance to improve my creative skills as a chance to make a break and decide what kind of an architect I would like to be..

DESIGN PROJECT 02 REDESIGN OUR OWN BEDROOM
PROJECT SUMMARY
An artist is a creative person who spends time to express their creativity through different media. Some through Painting, some through dance and others through other different art forms using nonconventional media such as metal, glass, clay and visual technology Regardless of the medium they use, every artist seeks to express their ideas, ideals and emotions in a creative manner. In this day and age, advances in science and technology has opened a broader range of artistic media for creative individuals, ranging from digital media, interactive art installations as well as the peculiar niche of street art, graffiti, and art created using industrial by products Creative people have unique characters and individual ways in which they feel comfortable in doing what they do, and in this regard, they highly value their private workspace. So often it is a private place for them to reflect, find sanctuary and carry out their creative work – sometimes novel projects of experimental nature. It not only needs to have the right atmosphere but also be practical enough to be able to carry out the Artist’s work while catering to the basic human needs of space.

DESIGN PROJECT 02
CAMPING KITCHEN
PROJECT SUMMARY
Camping is a recreational outdoor activity which involves overnight stays away from home in a shelter. This recreational activity dates back to 1880’s and said to be popularized in UK on the river Thames. Later it evolves to many areas and present-day camping may be combined with hiking as in back- packing and is in conjunction with outdoor activities such as canoeing, climbing, fishing, and hunting. To be regarded as "camping" a minimum of one night spent outdoors is required and this involves in getting the meals prepared for overnight stay at the camping site.
Project Brief
This project is about designing a portable camping kitchen which will enable to prepare a meal for two persons, who are camping partners

DESIGN PROJECT 03 ARTIST STUDIO
PROJECT SUMMARY
An artist is a creative person who spends time to express their creativity through different media. Some through Painting, some through dance and others through other different art forms using nonconventional media such as metal, glass, clay and visual technology Regardless of the medium they use, every artist seeks to express their ideas, ideals and emotions in a creative manner. In this project the students are expected to design a small free-standing building which is a studio cum Bedsitter for a creative artist at a selected site. This studio should mainly respond to both the character of the artist and the art form However the specific features and patterns of the immediate context in which it will be built will also need to be acknowledged when the design is done. Each student is expected to select an artist known to them It should be someone you are able to interview, talk to and go and see how their art form is created, performed or done This is critical since you will be required to understand and analyse the artist as your client for whom you are mainly designing this precinct for and also understand how he or she carries out activities when indulging in the artistic studio work in order for the studio to complement and provide the best possible space and atmosphere for the purpose for your client.
DESIGN PROJECT 04
PERSONALIZED HOUSE
Project type Individual Project Site Location Thalangama – Sri Lanka
Duration Sep 09 – Oct 28
Software Used Sketchup OneNote
PROJECT SUMMARY
A house is building where people live in and conduct their private lives. It is a place to dwell, and to feel at home. The architecture and expression of what a house is has changed dramatically with time, and will also change based on the owner, site, and climate The culture of the society and social strata will also have a profound effect on how a house is arranged in terms of space.
Therefore, it is essential to understand for whom you are designing for, where it will be located and how the client perceives a house and the activities that will take place in it The architect also will have to consider how each client perceives their own household – for some it will be the center of their existence and own personal haven, and for others it will be mostly the space where they wind down from the worldly duties for rest and respite An understanding of your client’s point of view and their attitude towards life and family is therefore crucial for formulating their actual requirements of the house.
Project:
In this project, you are expected to design a personalized house which can become a home for a selected family at a given specific site. Your client will be the Studio Tutor for your third design project – ‘Artist studio’. A site will be assigned to you from the area in and around Malabe
First and foremost, you are required to interview your client, and their family members (if possible) and understand the client’s background, attitudes, and requirements. You will need to develop a design programmed, or the brief based on your discussions with the client

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The ලාලිත්ය in the nature is reflected through the house which is a place where the client interact with each other The intersection of the design is the main feature as the ground floor reflects a more masculine shape of the Husband meanwhile the 1st floor reflects the feminine look of the wife. The intersecting areas is where they spend most of their time together just like how, despite of the differences of the ලාලිත්ය in nature they still interact and go well together
