I am an undergraduate student who is still reading the degree BSc in Architecture, awarded by Liverpool John Moores University conducted by Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology My passion in designing always comes when I dig deep into the subject and by analyzing the content which thrives me to explore more ideas. As a designer, I highly appreciate the freedom and the independence of thinking. I am an explorer who gives my best to produce a unique creative design. And a good team player who involve myself the best to achieve the team goals and work cooperatively.

In this phase of my journey being an architecture student made me realize how joyful, broad and interesting the field is, to play with colors, shapes, forms, spaces, volumes, textures and giving life to a building which evoke feeling and emotions. PROJECT SUMMARY

The Student Hostel design project is deriving from a Multi-Storey built Spaces and Community Living, Student hostels concern about the accommodation facilities, protection and comfort. Student Hostels are an affordable option for students living away from home, it is a shared sociable lodging where students can rent a bed, usually a bunk bed in a dormitory with shared use of common spaces like Kitchens, study areas, washrooms, etc. Hostels can be single or multiple occupancy, mixed or segregated by sex. These accommodations facilitate students in their transition to independent living and provide an opportunity to socialize and study successfully within or nearby the Institute.

provide residential undergraduate student accommodation which enhances the student experience by delivering high quality living, social and amenity space: improving the living and learning experience when in residence. This project aims to design a multi- storey building with a limitation of four storied in maximum along with an occupancy of 150-200 students. Student Hostel built within the SLIIT premises Malabe, Sri Lanka will reflect and enhance the identity of the institution while harmoniously blending with the surrounding context while creating a sense of community for the occupants of the hostel.

The design project is deriving from a process buildings, Pottery centers follows a process in producing their products This process is aligned with the past tradition and currently they have incorporated the new technology. They have specific production methods, ways operations and raw materials. This project aims to design a small-scale Pottery center at Kaduwela, Sri Lanka to promote and market the pottery products. This Design project demonstrate the activity of a Pottery center, functional requirements, current issues and to create a new Pottery center with Design, production, promotion, and sales.

This Design project will study the activity of a Pre-school and a Day care center, by understanding the user(s), its functional requirements, and to create a new Day care center with a Pre-school for 60 Children of different age groups starting from age 1+ years. The building design will reflect and enhance the identity of the institution while harmoniously blending with the surrounding context and creating a sense of place for the occupants of the Pre-school and the Day care center. PROJECT SUMMARY

The design project is deriving from Adaptive Re-use buildings, This project will be to connect the Dutch Burger Union and its activities to the public more effectively through expanding and redesigning the building to a new brief. This is in a prime location in Colombo, Thunmulla Junction. The design retain the old building with its distinct character with minor alterations and redesign of the later extension in the rear side of the building.
