Worldwide Ambitions of Slovak Documentaries Despite the second year of the pandemic not being favorable to film distribution for cinemas, twelve documentaries by Slovak filmmakers managed to get into cinemas, at least for a short while. This time, the number of documentaries made by women was double the amount of those made by men. Five of the films are debuts, which is even rarer.
