Pentecost worship is about joy, and the invitation is to let the Spirit be poured out on you. But remember, that “you” is plural. Let the Spirit be poured out on all y’all. It was because they were gathered together that this happened.

OPENING “Holy, Holy, Holy” By: Black Gospel Choir
CALL TO WORSHIP “Psalm 104:24-34, 35b” Response: Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, who rules all creation. Leader: People: Leader: People: Leader: People: Leader: People: Leader: People:
O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. Yonder is the sea, great and wide, creeping things innumerable are there, living things both small and great. There go the ships, and Leviathan whom you formed to play in it. These all look to you, to give them their food I due season. When you give to them, they gather it; when you open your hand, they are filled with good things. When you hide your face, they are dismayed; when you take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
Leader: People:
When you send forth your spirit, they are created; and you renew the face of the ground.
Leader:
May the glory of the Lord endure forever, may the Lord rejoice in his works, who looks on the earth and it trembles, who touches the mountains and they smoke!
People: Leader: People:
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being.
Leader:
May my meditation be pleasing to the Lord in whom I rejoice. Bless the Lord, O my soul!
Response: Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, who rules all creation.
Verse 1 More about Jesus would I know, More of His grace to others show, More of His saving fullness see, More of His love who died for me. Verse 2 More about Jesus let me learn, More of His holy will discern; Spirit of God, my Teacher be, Showing the things of Christ to me. Verse 4 More about Jesus on His throne, Riches in glory all His own, More of His kingdom’s sure increase, More of His coming — Prince of Peace.
