WORSHIP LEADERS: There is still a need for Worship Leaders. If you are able to volunteer for one month, it will be appreciated. Please see Ms. Anita Chapman.
Our District Superintendent, Rev. Wayne Snead will join us for our Church Conference on April 24, 2016 @ 10:45 AM--immediately following Worship and Praise. Let's make this a "Bring a Friend Sunday" and invite a guest to be a part of our growth celebration! This is a blessing that few churches experience.
Let's get the word out that Sunday, April 24, 2016 is "Bring a Friend or Family Member" to church. Worship and Praise will be going on--our youth will be singing, along with the Praise Team. The sermon that day will be "The People Had a Mind to Work." Let's take our ministry to the next level.
FOOD HANDLERS CARDS: If you are interested in obtaining/renewing a food handlers card, the class will be held at NUMC. Date and time TBA. Ask your friends/coworkers to sign up. Thirty people are needed. Please give your name(s) to Brenda Turner.
TEAM PROJECT: Sunday, April 24th, Valerie Santiful's team will have sweets for your pleasure. Get your dinner deserts here!
EMPLOYMENT: The Virginia Employment Commission is one of the community partners of Norfolk United Methodist. Each month we receive their Services Calendar, which is included in the Sunday Bulletin. Please share this information with family, friends, or anyone that you know needing employment.
Vacation Bible School: Will be held the week of June 27-July 1. Classes for all age!
THE WARRIORS TEAM OF GOD: Will have a Spaghetti/Lasagna Dinner & Movie on Friday, 15 April and a Sunday Brunch on May 1, 2016 following Worship. The team has tickets for a donation‌.Please purchase, enjoy the food and fellowship.
