A JESUIT COLLEGE PREPARATORY SCHOOL EDUCATING MEN FOR OTHERS SINCE 1818
We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory school for young men, committed to its presence in the city of St. Louis and dedicated to building Christ’s kingdom of truth, justice, love and peace. We serve young men based on their ability to succeed, rather than their economic circumstances.
Through a rigorous academic program, we help our students develop critical minds and a lifelong devotion to learning that informs moral choices and transforms lives. In addition to assisting in the intellectual, aesthetic, social and physical formation of our students, we help them develop compassionate hearts by fostering habits of personal prayer, reflection and service for the Greater Glory of God.

ACADEMICS “I have always been a good student, but focusing on my organizational skills and study skills really ensured my smooth transition from St. Justin Martyr Catholic School to SLUH. The curriculum here is challenging, but the teachers are always available to help us learn and grow. SLUH is definitely preparing me for success in college.” – TONY LINDWEDEL, CLASS OF 2020
As a college preparatory school, one of SLUH’s primary goals is to develop in each student the academic skills necessary to successfully continue his education after graduation. The rigorous, fouryear, technology-enhanced curriculum is tailored to achieve this result while simultaneously instilling intellectual curiosity and a worldview in keeping with the Jesuit tradition.
