Stewardship Update: We are extremely grateful for the many parishioners who stepped up to the challenge to bridge our $600,000 stewardship shortfall and increased their pledge. While we did not completely erase the deficit, we did make substantial progress and we will be working with staff to appropriately adjust our 2016 budget. We are so thankful for the generosity of Saint Michael’s parishioners. You are all a great blessing. Matthew Waller, Senior Warden

Making Lent Real - A Wednesday Night Experience. This season of Lent we invite you to come Wednesday nights to Eat, Pray, and Create. At 5:30, we will eat a meal together. At 6:00, we will worship together with a simple service exploring a different style of music, then we will gather to create small crafts or projects responding to the spirit of worship. The first Wednesday we will eat a soup dinner, worship will feature a Bluegrass/old style gospel band with healing prayers, and we will make healing oils. Each week is crafted to engage our full congregation. We do not want to separate old and young. The purpose of the season of Lent is to call us back into relationship with God and one another. We want everyone to be present so we can live into this deeper invitation of God to love. Host a Lent Home Communion. A home communion can help make Lent real to you, your family, friends, and neighbors. Consider opening your home to celebrate Eucharist with a Saint Michael priest, fellow parishioners, and those with whom you want to share the experience.
