Customs Office Haimen City, Jiangsu Province, China CKC Architecture Renders production: Silkroad Ltd.

Haimen is a county-level-city under the administration of Nantong, with a population of around 1 million. It is located at the opposite side of the Yangtze River to Shanghai and directly connected to Chongming Island, a ecologic island designed by SOM. Its strategic location between the Yellow Sea and the Yangtze River requires more infrastructures each time. This project belongs to the goverment and it is part of a huge plan that aims to provide and develop the neccesary base to the future sea transportation in Haimen.

This design was the last architecture project that I was involved in during my period in CKC Architecture. I had the responsabiliy of designing one of the facade proposals and to manage the communication with the company in charge of the render production. Designing this project was a special time for me as i felt that my superiors would back me up with my design, no matter how creative it would be. I had been working for them for a year at that time. Finally, my proposal was choosen by the clients and we ended the whole project according to my design. The facade was designed with different treatment depending of its solar location using simple building blinds in different

BHC Beauty SPA Shanghai, China. Freelance This job sets a milestone in my career as an architecture designer. It was the first time that I had the chance to work in interior design and to manage a project by myself, without any other supervision. It was a great opportunity to have a try on the interior design field and an even greater satisfaction to see my own design built.

This Beauty Spa was located in a big mixed use building basement. Its position was great as it had the public commercial on the one side and the main hall of the residential part on the other. The planfloor distribution is highly influenced by the building structure.

It was the first time that BHC landed in China, so I had to meet with the marketing and construction teams several times before finally agreeing on a visual identity that would match (and exceed) our client´s expectations.

One of the most interesting aspect of this project was, no doubt, to deal with external teams like the marketing and construction teams that were involved as well.

Simple Chair Master in Engineering Design This chair was designed for one of my Master in Engineering Design course. It is called “Simple Chair as, to me, it sums up the whole paradox of what chair design is : no matter how much time and efforts you spend designing it, the chair will probably end up looking simple and effortless.

Conceptual Urban Design Lingang City, Shanghai, China. CKC Architecture Renders production: Silkroad Ltd.

Lingang City is a planned city located in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai. The masterplan was designed by the German architects company GMP and the construction started in 2003. Nowadays, Lingang City has become a ghost city, like hundreds of other cities in China. In this case, my office was called to participate in a investment forum and talk about how design could help to develop activities in the city. My role in this project started once the masterplan ws finally defined. I was in charge of the building conception. All the building close-ups showed in the following chapter were designed by me.

Apartments buildings and offices near the harbour. In the following page, the Masterplan representation.

Night view of the masterplan, in which we can see the most important elements of the planning. Hotels, exhibition centers, offices, apartments, museums...

The planning included buildings close-ups. In this case, a compound of hotels next to the harbour are showed.

A river connect the Lingang Lake and the Yellow Sea. The surrounded area is full of museums, pavilions and expositions centers.

204 Lingshi Road Shanghai, China CKC Architecture Renders production: Silkroad Ltd. Since the beginning, the 204 Lingshi Rd was a big challenge. It was the first project that I was involved in as part of CKC Architecture and I was therefore under a lot of pressure. My role in the project was to assist the Creative Director during the design of the main facade, developing the 3D prototypes and managing the communication with the renders production company.

The project consisted in the total renovation of the facades of several buildings as well as in small transformations. Most of the transformations were made on the ground floor in order for them to be useful in a commercial context. The client accepted the project after five differents proposals, which were given in less than two intensive working weeks.

Intermodal Station San Fernando, Cádiz. Spain. Final Master Project. ETSAS. Architecture tutor: Luis Rubiño Chacón Construction tutor: Milagrosa Borrallo Jimenez Graphic Expression tutor: Ana Bravo Structures and fundations tutor: Ignacio Perez Calero History, theory and composition tutor: Jose Ramón Moreno García Urbanism: Pedro Trujillo

This project was the last step I had to take before becoming an architect. Here you will have a glance at the work that cost me ten months of hard work and unforgettable nights without sleep.

The place is located in San Fernando, a city of 100.000 people in the south of Spain, surrounded by a huge natural park made of salt factories and fish plants. The flat aspect of the landscape is broken by the cities around.

The Interchange Station was located in the south of the city, near the exit to Cรกdiz. The place is characterized by being a nod with lots of transport infrastructures, designed at different times and apparently without any sense. The main purpose of this project was to organize these infrastructures and give them a somewhat more appealing aspect.

The building included a train station, a tramway station, a bus station, a small taxi stop, an underground parking of two floors and the access to the city. I chose to divide the building into four different floors. floor 0. Tramway station and pedestrian access basement -1. Parking and pedestrian access basement -2. Bus station, train station, parking and vehicules access. basement -3. Highwayest laborum.t

The finished version of this project also included the basic information for the construction of the building, including : Structures, fundations, construction, MEP, fire emergency plan... st laborum.

Sequi Lumen Seville, Spain. ANfhARQ Competition Tutor: Jorge Roa Working group: Ana Trivi単o, Marta Suanzes, Pedro Trujillo, Santiago Malo Our aim in this project was to analyse the translucent concrete and to explore the use of the light in order to make it more efficient. In the pictures below, you will find pictures of different prototypes that we created ourselves.

In these pictures, we see a group of prototypes with lights and shadows. We can appreciate how, depending on the light conditions (day or night), the aspect of the material is changing. In the following image, you will find a representation of a pedestrian tunnel with what would be the light effects of such a technique.

Church Seville, Spain. Architectural Project 4. ETSAS. Tutor: Fรกtima Pablo Romero

Seville is a thousands old city in the south of Spain and the capital of andalusia, with architecture as best testimony when it comes to its history length and richness. This proyect was located in the center, next to La Alameda de Hercules, where the city is showing a process of gentrification. After years of decline, this neighbourhood is now increasing in wealth and population, which implies a need of new infrastructures.

The church was designed and built on an empty plot, surrounded by old residential buildings. The project included both a church and a public space that worked as a point of connection to the church.

The main idea of the project was to create a public space that would attract people and activities around the church. The church is opened to that almost transparent space.
