Coalition Affiliate Agreement This agreement establishes an Affiliate relationship between ____________________________ and Smart Beginnings Shenandoah Valley. I.
MISSION The mission of the Smart Beginnings Shenandoah Valley Coalition is to help all children enter school healthy and prepared to succeed. The vision of the Coalition is a diverse community where every family is supported and has access to quality programs and resources for their young child.
II.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES _______________________________ will demonstrate commitment to the Coalition by appointing a representative(s) to regularly attend scheduled coalition meetings, whether for Locality Team, Steering Committee, Leadership Council or quarterly meetings, and support the coalition’s vision, mission, and goals ___________________________ will be considered as a Coalition Affiliate as long as the designated member(s) remains in good standing. The organization must contact the Coalition if a staffing change affects Coalition membership. Coalition Affiliates will have the benefit of being listed as such on the Coalition website and in other Coalition promotional materials.
III.
TERMS OF UNDERSTANDING The term of this agreement is for a period of two years from the effective date of the agreement. Either Party may terminate this agreement at any time. Authorization The signing of this agreement is not a formal undertaking. It implies that the signatories will strive to reach, to the best of their abilities, the objectives stated. ____________________________ Signature
