In winter, Fran and Brad put on coats and get in the car. Dad stops the car at a big hill so they can go sledding.

Fran and Brad have a wooden sled. They clamber up to the top of the hill. They wait until the coast is clear, get on the sled and go thundering back down. 4

If the wind picks up, they seek shelter under a tree.

Back in his log hut, Brad pulls off his wet gear and curls up under a blanket with his cat. 8
