Critics describe her genre mixing sound as “gracefully combining Ethio-Jazz, funk, soul and R&B, with mixed undertones of black grooves”.

BODYTRAFFIC has surged to the forefront of the concert dance world and was named one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” in 2013 and the “company of the future” by the Joyce Theater Foundation. BODYTRAFFIC’S program will include works by Barak Marshall (Batsheva Dance), Richard Siegal, and Victor Quijada (RUBBERBANDance).

This performance of BODYTRAFFIC is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs.
