It’s a holiday tradition Main Street gives the season a little more spirit very year, Santa Monica's historic Main Street transforms into a holiday wonderland, with sights and sounds that make the season bright. The tree-lined street becomes the perfect spot for a holiday family outing. Your holiday season starts with free photos with Santa and songs of the season at Heritage Square on the California Heritage Museum lawn. Sing along if you're so inspired, or just

listen in; either way, you're sure to get in the holiday mood. Follow Santa as he leads a candlelight walk from the Museum lawn to the Edgemar courtyard where the iconic Shopping Cart Tree awaits. Once there, revelers will be entertained by live entertainment. Afterwards meander down Main Street, shop for gifts and enjoy holiday parties.

Celebration schedule
Main Street will be ground zero for holiday revelry on Dec. 1 Tree Lighting Tree Lighting with holiday songs by the Samohi Choir and the Green Brooms Music Academy, 6 p.m. at the California Heritage Museum lawn at 2612 Main St.
Candlelight Walk Following the tree lighting, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a Candlelight Walk led by Santa to the Shopping Cart Tree at Edgemar courtyard with music by the Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers.
Photos with Santa Santa Claus will be at the museum lawn at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, to take photos with kids. Photos are free, please remember to bring your own camera. After photos and the tree lighting, Santa will lead a walk to the Shopping Cart Tree at Edgemar. He will be available for photos there are well. 6

The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers Main Street is pleased to welcome back the offbeat and original Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers, featuring the spectacular singing talents of Catherine Allison, Rory Johnston, Marianne Lewis, Kathy Leonardo, Jon Preston and Suzy Williams. Enjoy this fun and flamboyant group rocking down the Edgemar Courtyard and strolling up and down Main Street.
