SUMMARY

The project aims to design an ergonomic, modern and attractive space for the city's guests and residents during leisure and events. At present, there is no recreational space in the territory of the town, where the residents and guests of the town could have a rest, and there is no comfortable space for traveling pilgrims for a longer stay. The idea of the design was born from a spontaneous visit to the plot. As the town of Šiluva is an important place of pilgrimage, some of the biggest concessions in Lithuania are taking place there, so that the projected territory continues the theme of religion and pilgrimage. Designing the space, the idea was to use a passage from the New Testament in which Jesus gave a sermon to the people gathered on the mountain. Therefore, in our decisions we have planned to design a pond in the swampy part of the territory, which provides a stylized sculpture of Jesus in a boat, which would be directed to the Chapel of the Apparition of the Virgin Mary, and we gave the territory of the park "Mountain Sermon Park" name. A place for the stage is planned on the shore of the pond, and a small amphitheater for the listeners is set up on the hillside. Broken forms have been chosen, the style of the amphitheater has been stepped up, adapted to the needs of various people. The stylistics of the amphitheater allow both the people sitting and standing behind them to see the scene and the sculpture of Jesus. There is a parking lot next to the amphitheater, from where you can enter both the amphitheater and the park. Ascending the mountain, the slope is broken down by footpaths, including rest areas designed with various shapes of furniture. The territory of the park is planned to be planted with trees, which perform not only the aesthetic but also the privacy provided to the residents of the surrounding areas. A gazebo designed on the site of the amphitheater would be a place for pilgrims to eat. The area is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

Strict, minimalist forms, laconic materials were chosen for the design: wood, concrete, metal.
