INTERNATIONAL FILM AWARDS 2014
The Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival’s annual open film submission gives filmmakers from all over the world a platform to explore the concept of mental health through film, challenge perceptions and share their ideas with new audiences. This year saw a diverse range of submissions from as far away as Australia, Canada, Iran, Thailand and the US as well as from Europe, Ireland and the UK. The annual film awards ceremony honours the very best of these films at the Edinburgh Filmhouse, in presence of the winning filmmakers. Following up on this year's ceremony, the 2014 winning films will be screened at the Glasgow School of Art. These events will include discussions with the award-winning directors, moderated by Festival Film Curator Richard Warden.
