Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to your hotel with your private driver. Ascend Table Mountain in a rotating cable car, taking in 360˚ views of the city. Walk the mountaintop, looking for flora and fauna including endemic fynbos species. Then catch the ferry to Robben Island for a shared tour of the prison where Nelson Mandela was held.

Day 3 – Cape Peninsula and Cape Winelands

Set out on a full-day guided excursion to the Cape Peninsula. Stop at world-renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and see the resident penguins of Boulders Bay. Ride the funicular to the wild and windswept Cape Point. The next day, head into the Cape Winelands region for tasting tours of wineries in Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl.

Days 5–7 – Sabi Sands Game Reserve

Travel to the airport by private car and fly to Kruger National Park. Transfer to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, a private reserve within the Greater Kruger region. During two full days, set out on morning and afternoon game drives with fellow guests and a knowledgeable tracker and guide. Watch for the “Big Five”—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and Cape buffalo—as well as wild dogs, monkeys, numerous ungulates, and colorful birds. Join a guided bush walk and enjoy nightly sundowner cocktails as the sun sets, and then watch for nocturnal species.

Days 8–10 – Livingstone and Victoria Falls, Zambia

Catch a flight to Livingstone, the gateway to the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. Settle into your hotel on the banks of the Zambezi River and consider joining a guided sunset wildlife cruise. Enjoy a full day to discover Victoria Falls. You’ll have a range of opportunities to explore this World Heritage site as you wish, from a guided walk into the chasm, to canoeing, fishing, whitewater rafting, and much more. Hike in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, or meander through the bustling market and a fascinating museum in Livingstone. On your final day, fly back to Johannesburg and connect to your international flight home.
