• Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences is a public multidisciplinary university in Switzerland recognized by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China as an international institution of higher education. ZHAW was established in 1874, and over the last 140 years it has grown considerably in size and scope. Today it incorporates a wide range of disciplines, making it the largest Swiss university of applied sciences. It enjoys an excellent reputation both in Europe as well as internationally for supplying outstanding young professionals to all industries. T he university's performance mandate, which includes BSc, MSc, and continuing education programs, together with research and consultancy, is scientifically based and practically-oriented. Research and development activities at ZHAW address current societal challenges, particularly energy and social integration. With several campuses in the Zurich region (Winterthur, the city of Zurich, and Wiidenswil), ZHAW is well-established in Switzerland. At the same time, collaboration with international partners and close ties to a global network reflect its international orientation. ZHAW consists of eight schools: Management and Law; Architecture, Design, and Civil Engineering; Health Professions; Applied Linguistics; Life Sciences and Facility Management; Applied Psychology; Social Work; and Engineering.
