During the junior class skit, junior Clayton Habben does a backflip with the assistance of junior Parker Pavlik April 13 in the Main Gym. During a flat start, competitors must react quickly to the starting strobe that signals the beginning of a race. “That’s the moment you know that you have a whole race ahead of you,” Herbst said. “It’s your time to show everyone watching that you deserve to be there.”
