“The best way to celebrate the end of 2015 & ring in the new year” – under this motto the SMOOTH JAZZ FESTIVAL AUGSBURG 2015 presents the stars of the international Smooth-Jazz-Scene for the first time around the turn of the year. As in the previous years, the four-days-festival is going to take place at the famous Park Theatre in Augsburg – the perfect surrounding for the big names performing on stage. The most extravagant of them is likely to be the guitarist and vocalist Nick Colionne who will also be hosting the “New Year’s Allstar Jam-Session”, starting on New Year’s Eve after midnight. There is hardly a great Smooth Jazz Festival or a Smooth Jazz Cruise in the US, Colionne has not joined and performed at, yet. The flamboyant personality, who has been elected “Performer of the Year” several times, is not only an excellent musician, but also a gifted showman.
“The best way to celebrate the end of 2015 & ring in the new year” – unter diesem Motto präsentiert das SMOOTH JAZZ FESTIVAL AUGSBURG 2015 im Parktheater erstmals vier Tage um den Jahreswechsel die Stars der internationalen SmoothJazz-Szene. New Year’s Allstar Jam-Session“ führt.

Michael Lington
Saxophonist Michael Lington is a native of Denmark. It was in 1990 that Lington moved to Los Angeles, becoming a U.S. citizen in 2008. He got his musical start in Bobby Caldwell’s band; later he toured for three years with jazz and R&B legend Randy Crawford. The saxophonist, who has also performed numerous times for the Danish royal family (including the wedding reception of Crown Prince Frederik), has always been first-call for musical superstars. He opened arena shows for Barry Manilow and already spent 18 months on tour with Michael Bolton. Lington has been a familiar face on contemporary jazz since his self titled major-label debut in 1997, and his tracks keep conquering the Billboard Contemporary Jazz charts. For his seventh CD ‘Pure’, he returns to the basics for an organic, soul-jazz project that recalls the glory days of contemporary jazz unburdened by pop constraints. The first single ‘Roadtrip’, which was produced and written by Lington and Brian Culbertson, is among most added and played songs at contemporary and smooth jazz radio and hit #3 at the Billboard Jazz Song Charts. His last album ‘Soul Appeal’ was released in 2014.

Nick began learning guitar at age nine from his stepfather Edward, and started gigging professionally by 15. With a jazz style that is both urban and contemporary, he has blazed a trail to the top of the ranks of today’s stars. Combining all of the various influences of his music career from jazz to R&B to blues to rock, he has created an unmistakable sound and vibe that is instantly recognizable. With lightening fast speed and a distinctively silky sound, Nick takes the guitar to unexpected places every time he performs. His rich baritone vocals delight audiences unaccustomed to hearing such a skilled instrumentalist singing as well. And his natural comedic showmanship….well, he is one of a kind, and you have to experience a Nick Colionne show for yourself. To do so, there are many occasions - in addition to the Smooth Jazz Festival Augsburg, of course: His tour schedule includes more than 100 live performances per year. For good reason, he succeeded Chris Botti as ‘International Instrumental Artist of the Year’ at the 2007 Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards. In total Nick released eight albums and hit the Top Ten Billboard Contemporary Jazz charts many times. His last album ‘Influences’ was released in April 2014.

Michael Manson
A native of Chicago, Michael Manson took interest in the electric guitar at the age of 14. Influenced by Al Jarreau and intrigued by the technique of Jarreau‘s bass player Abe Laboriel, his love of music soon began to shift towards the bass guitar. At 15, he and a group of friends formed Togetherness, releasing an album and two singles before Manson left to join the Navy six years later. After returning to Chicago to obtain both his B.A. and Master‘s in Music degrees, he joined City Lights and began performing regularly on Chicago‘s jazz circuit. In 1999, he was invited to play the Montreux Casino Lights festival. Sharing the stage with the likes of Boney James, George Duke and Kirk Whalum. Afterwards, George invited him onboard the Montreux Jazz tour. Since then, Manson has performed with the who is who of contemporary jazz and also co-produced, for example, Brian Culbertson‘s “I‘m Gonna Miss You“, but he also continued to branch out, producing and writing while on tour. In 2002, Bass-master Michael Manson moved from sideman to center-stage, releasing his solo debut “The Bottom Line”. Three albums followed and meanwhile he has joined the ranks of today’s premiere jazz artists.

Everette Harp

Everette Harp began to play the piano as a toddler and at the tender age of 4 he discovered the saxophone. As his father was a minister and his mother a pianist and organist, his first love was gospel music. Jazz he discovered in high school and later he studied music. For a time he played in local Houston bands, but moved to Los Angeles in 1988. Soon he toured with Teena Marie and Anita Baker. In 1990, George Duke, Harps idol and later his friend and mentor, signed him to a production deal, through Capitol Records, and two years later Everette got a solo deal with Blue Note Records. His first album, produced by Duke, was a great success. Soon after, Harp appeared at the Montreux Jazz Festival. He had got the ball rolling, appeared in television shows and also had the distinct pleasure of sharing the stage with newly inaugurated President Bill Clinton. The list, enclosing the celebrities he has already performed with, seems endlessly: Chaka Khan, Kenny Loggins, Marcus Miller, Dianne Reeves, Joe Sample, Aretha Franklin, Al Jarreau, Dionne Warwick, The Pointer Sisters, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Patti Labelle, Luther Vandross and and and. AND: This list also encloses European (Eros Ramazzotti) and German celebrities (Peter Maffay): With Ramazotti, he toured the world in 2009 and 2013 and with Maffay he has been touring and recording with since 2014. With a smooth sound bringing together elements of funk, R&B, rock and electric jazz, keyboardist, composer and producer Jeff Lorber helped pioneer a genre of fusion later formatted in contemporary jazz. Born in Philadelphia, he began playing the piano at the age of four, and as a teen performed with a variety of local R&B bands. Lorber’s infatuation with jazz began during his stay at the Berklee College of Music, and after forming the Jeff Lorber Fusion he issued the group’s self-titled debut in 1977. During the first half of the following decade, the band became one of the most popular jazz acts of the period, touring nonstop and even scoring a Best R&B Instrumental Grammy nomination for the radio hit “Pacific Coast Highway.” Another Grammy nomination followed for Lorber’s CD “Now is the time”. 2013 he returned to his musical roots and with his 24th album “Galaxy” he gave himself over to the sound that he once had helped to define: Contemporary Jazz. His latest CD, “Step It Up” was released on September 25, 2015. The fourth consecutive collaboration between the Grammy-nominated keyboardist and Grammy-winning bassist/composer/producer Jimmy Haslip.

Peter White live at Smooth Jazz Festival Augsburg 2015 on Thursday, 31. December, 22:00 h & 24:00 h (Allstar jam)
An Englishman who accentuates his music with charm and playfulness. The result: Smooth Jazz with a spiritedness which many others in this genre lack. Born in Luton in 1954, White devoted himself to music already as a child. He learned to play several instruments, including the clarinet, trombone, violin and piano. And of course, like so many youngsters growing up during the heyday of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, he gravitated to the guitar. After his first electric guitar had burnt in a fire, however, he had to play an acoustic guitar. He made the best of it: White discovered his love for acoustic music. At 20, he was invited to join Al Stewart’s band for a tour of England, Scotland, and the U.S. in 1975. This was the beginning of a 20 year association. He worked with Stewart as a pianist at first, and later also as a guitarist, composer and co-producer. In 1979 both moved to Los Angeles, formed the band ‘Shot in the Dark’ and a record label called Lobster Music. In 1990 White published his first solo CD ‘ReveillezVous’. The album soon became a favourite among contemporary jazz radio stations. 13 successful albums later, White released his last solo recording ‘Smile’ (2014).

Born in Norfolk, Joyner played drums in the church choir before he took up the saxophone in high school. Since then much has happened. In 2007 Joyner’s album “Babysoul” debuted at #15 on the Billboard chart. Three more albums followed and both with his own band as well as with big names like Keiko Matsui, Jackiem toured the world extensively. Still being a young turk on the contemporary jazz scene, he is far from complacent and staid in his sound and style. Not afraid to challenge the fan base that took him to No. 1 twice and Top 3 two more times on the Billboard chart, Joyner got adventurous on his fifth album “Evolve”. It’s his first on which he wrote and produced the entire set. Juxtaposing invigorating otherworldly sonicscapes under tender sax melodies, “Evolve” is a dynamic, highly-rhythmic session that is unpredictable laced with traces of the familiar. In addition to playing alto and soprano sax on the record, Joyner is a multi-instrumentalist who played many of the instruments heard on the collection along with a couple of high-profile assists from Grammy-nominated sax player Gerald Albright, Keiko Matsui & many more.
Jeff Lorber, David Benoit, Peter White, Jeff Golub, Marcus Miller, David Sanborn, Kirk Whalum, Richard Elliott, Candy Dulfer, Rick Braun, Chaka Khan, Jonathan Butler und The Temptations. Zudem hat sie auch schon ihren eigenen Original-Funky-Jazz-Tune „You and I“ veröffentlicht. Erhältlich auf iTunes.
Selina Albright, Gerald Albright’s daughter, is a multigenre vocalist and songwriter. She began singing at age two, but her professional music career began at age 14 when she performed on an educational project released in Japan by Sony. In addition, she has also been the featured background vocalist for some of her father’s songs and she has already written songs for him. Selina’s versatility, soulfulness and angelic tone add character and emotion to any ballad, yet her powerful wailing and stage presence command attention. Albright learned her onstage charisma and vocal technique from being exposed to legendary artists, such as Whitney Houston, Ella Fitzgerald, Lalah Hathaway and Tina Turner. Aside from her jazz releases, the artist has also collaborated with EDM artists and DJs, showing yet another facet of her creativity. She has shared stages all over the world with many artists, such as Jeff Lorber, David Benoit, Peter White, Jeff Golub, Marcus Miller, David Sanborn, Kirk Whalum, Richard Elliott, Candy Dulfer, Rick Braun, Chaka Khan, Jonathan Butler, and The Temptations. She has also released her own original funky jazz tune “You and I”, which is available on iTunes.

Jahrhunderts
The Kurhaus Theater in Augsburg-Göggingen was erected in 1886. Built in the period of industrial expansion in Germany (late 1800s) by the Augsburg architect Jean Keller, it was destroyed by fire in 1972. After having been faithfully restored, it was reopened in 1996. This splendid theater was built to supplement the orthopaedic Hessing Sanatorium. It is considered as a unique European testimonial of 19-century architecture. Many similar buildings – from the Munich Glass Palace to the constructions specially built for the World Exhibitions of that time – have disappeared. The Kurhaus Theater once had also “disappeared”. It was rediscovered in 1972 when a former cinema that at the time was used by a construction company as an off-the-road storage facility, went up in flames for reasons still unknown. The fire destroyed wooden parts and coverings that were added over time. A double-storey hall came to the surface displaying cast-iron pillars and corridors together with ornamental balustrades, burntout iron muntin windows and burst stained-glass windows. The fire exposed the auditorium of the Kurhaus Theater (approx. 370 movable seats) with its historic cast-iron construction. Following an extensive renovation period, the Park Theater in Göggingen celebrated its reopening in 1996. 110 years earlier, in 1886, the Park Theater was designed as a theatre and community centre with an integrated palm house. Today, it is once again used as such hosting 200 cultural events per year. In addition, the various-sized premises are rented to both private individuals and companies.

Galloway“.
Sein zweites Album „Back To You“ ist im Oktober 2015 erschienen.

Review: 5th annual Smooth Jazz Festival Augsburg 2014
Let the party begin... Review by Peter Böhi of smoothjazzvibes.com
The 5th Annual Smooth Jazz Festival Augsburg (7th if you count those in Bregenz and Munich that preceded it) took place at the Parktheater at the Kurhaus Göggingen in Augsburg, Germany. This year, the festival already began Thursday night. The festival has matured nicely and Christian Bössner, the man behind the event, is making it better every year. Fans from all across Europe and the US came in droves to see some of the best smooth jazz players on the scene, and this year’s lineup was excellent as ever. The US players were supported by musical director Lutz Deterra on keys, Andy Pilger on drums, Günter Asbeck on bass and Martin Feske on guitar, the tried and tested band that is working hard during the festival to back up all the featured artists.
Chris Standring
Thursday night, the festival was kicked off by guitarist Chris Standring, his playing is jazzy, soulful and intelligent, with a lot of depth, still it is funky and groovy. He played several tracks from his current release “Don’t Talk, Dance” plus some of his previous hits, delivering an entertaining show. Next were saxophonists Marion Meadows and Paul Taylor. Despite the fact that each has his own inimitable style, they blended very well together. Mostly, they were alternating, each playing some material from his current release. As special guests, Chris Standring on guitar and Bob Baldwin on keyboards joined the band for one song, raising the heat. They returned for one encore, adding Chris Standring to the band, having people dance in the aisles. This was a very good show that started the festival in style. Friday night, the opening act was 34-years-old bass player Julian Vaughn, a rising star in the smooth jazz genre, who plays a higher pitched bass as a lead instrument in the tradition of the late Wayman Tisdale. With songs like “Can’t Hide Love”, “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “Do

territory. Later she presented a great rendition of “Lily Was Here” with a soaring guitar solo by Ulco Bed, providing the highlight of the show. After that, she switched back to dance territory. Then as a little show element, “vocal artist” Andy Ninvalle did a nice beatbox and mouth instrument segment, that culminated in Michael Jackson’s “Billy Jean”.
After an intermission, saxophone star Candy Dulfer was on, she appeared with her own band and started with a melodic sax led smooth jazz instrumental. Next was a pop song, followed by tracks from her current Crazy album, having Candy moving into pop dance
Saturday, keyboardist Bob Baldwin with guest saxophonist Stephanie Lottermoser did a nice set. Additionally, he had Marion Meadows join him later during the show, playing a variety of originals and covers. Especially remarkable was his impromptu tribute to the late Joe Sample on the acoustic piano.

Guitarist Matt Marshak and saxophonist Marcus Anderson did a very entertaining and groovy set, both are outstanding players that know how to give their fans a treat. Marcus Anderson showed a lot of variety, playing also the flute and the EWI, off the hook was his stroll into the audience handing out roses to some lucky women. At the end of the show, they invited twin sisters Magdalena Chovancova on sax and Gabriela Chovancova on drums from the band Threestyle to the stage, providing a rousing finale. Sunday morning, the Smooth Jazz Brunch at the Dorint hotel took place; the hotel where almost all artists and fans were staying. After one hour of brunching, we got some music from bassist Julian Vaughn and saxophonist Marcus Anderson, supported by the house band, who for the last time gave their all to provide 90 minutes of top entertainment. At the end of the show, the whole room was up and dancing. This was once again an exciting edition of the Smooth Jazz Festival Augsburg, this year in a newly expanded edition over the course of four days with 7 concerts by 8 international top stars. It was well attended by an international crowd which was enthusiastic and appreciative, creating a great vibe that helped to bring the best out of the players. I am sure they had a ball, as well. Mark your calendars for next year’s Smooth Jazz Festival Augsburg.

Review: 4th annual Mallorca Smooth Jazz Festival 2015
A big family meeting Review by Peter Böhi of smoothjazzvibes.com
The 4th annual Smooth Jazz Festival Mallorca took place like usual at the 5 star luxury resort Protur Biomar Gran Hotel & Spa in Sa Coma, on the east coast of the Spanish island Mallorca. This hotel provides the perfect setting for the festival, not only for the live music events, but also for meeting friends and chilling in the various areas of the vast complex. People from all across Europe and the US gathered here to listen to their favorite artists and have some fun. In addition, it is easy to meet your favorite artists since they stay at the same hotel and mingle with their fans, they usually have their spouses and other family members with them, making this a special event for them, too. The festival was kicked off by Swedish keyboardist Jonathan Fritzén, who hails from Stockholm and was born to an American father and a Swedish mother. He has a successful smooth jazz career going on and belongs to the newest generation of smooth jazz players, his playing is a cross between Brian Culbertson and Jim Brickman with beautiful

melodies and smooth grooves. This year’s band consisted of the tried and tested Lutz Deterra on keyboards, Martin Feske on guitar and Günter Asbeck on bass, plus Marcus Finnie on drums, who is a member of Kirk Whalum’s band and took over the chore of playing drums during the whole festival, he made the band sound especially good. Jonathan Fritzén played several songs from his current release Fritzenized, like “Fingers On Fire”, plus several others from his catalog, like “Sweet Spot” from his Magical release, with special guest Paul Brown on guitar appearing on stage, a solo piano version of “Nordic Night”, the introspective “Midnight Secrets”, plus “To The Top” and “Celebration”, both featuring saxophonist Vincent Ingala, who is his global touring partner, among others. For the song “Dance With Me”, he strapped on his keytar and played a lengthy solo strolling into the audience to the delight of his fans. His show was well received and opened the festival just the right way. Next was saxophonist Euge Groove who did a powerful, funky
show featuring his gutsy saxophone playing, supported by the house band. He opened his show with “House Of Groove” which segued into “Faithful Central”, after that he did several songs from his current Got 2 Be Groovin’ album, like “Rain Down On Me”, “Homie Gown” with special guest Paul Brown on guitar, plus several tracks from his catalog like “Living Large” and “Slam Dunk” from his debut album, having people groove in their seats. He did his usual booty dance contest and gave a vinyl copy of his current album away to the best dancer. A nice track was the laid back “Just My Imagination”, that was just beautifully played, plus an acappella version of “Amazing Grace”. At the end of the show, he got really funky with “From The TOP” (his reference to Tower of Power) where he invited Vincent Ingala to the stage, who took no prisoners as well. This was an awesome show by one of the best sax players on the scene.
providing some soulful playing, this young artist amazes me each time he plays, he sounds like a seasoned player with his perfect technique and emotional expression. Another highlight was his rendition of the Bill Withers classic “Ain’t No Sunshine” with Jonathan Fritzén on keyboards, both players poured all their heart into the performance. Paul Brown veered off into blues territory playing “Hurricane” from his Brothers Brown project, a blues band he has on the side with the keyboardist Paul Brown from Nashville. They concluded the show with the groovy “24/7” with two additional horn players from the local band Saxophobia, each
Friday morning, we made a little trip to a nearby market at the small village Son Servera, we drove there with two shuttle buses. After a bit of shopping and checking out the place, we went to an old church named “Església Nova” that never was finished, only the walls were standing, providing a great setting for an open air concert by singer Melina. The sky was blue and there was nice breeze going during the show. Melina hails from San Antonio, Texas and just finished her first album Wishing On Love that was produced by Paul Brown. She kicked off her show with “Killing Me Softly With His Song” before Paul Brown on guitar joined the stage. They did a number of tracks from that album, starting with “Stay With Me Tonight”, followed by Luther’s “Superstar”, her own “Maybe Not Today”, Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Going Down”, Etta James’ “At Last” in a funked up version and the heavy grooving “It’s Love”, with lots of nice solos by Paul Brown. Melina is a great singer with a strong voice and impeccable intonation, who is a joy to listen to. She finished her show with the Jacksons classic “Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)” with guest Vincent Ingala on saxophone, giving every member of the band some solo space, this song had people dance in the aisles. They came back for an encore, doing “Let’s Stay Together”, bringing a great show to an end.
After the intermission, saxophonist Kirk Whalum appeared, he had with him his original band members Marcus Finnie on drums and John Stoddart on keys, plus Günter Asbeck on bass and Martin Feske on guitar. He started his set with drummer Marcus Finnie’s composition “Fish And Spaghetti” from the drummer’s Boundless album, before he played material from his own catalog, like “Do You Feel Me”, bringing a southern feeling to the show, “Cain’t Stay Blue” from his current Gospel According To Jazz Chapter IV project and his rendition of Maxwell’s “Ascension”, that has become a staple of his show. He slowed things down with a heartfelt acappella version of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” wandering around in the audience while doing this song. John Stoddart got his slot as well, before they raised the heat again with the great Stevie Wonder composition “All I Do”, another song that has become a firm part of his shows. This was another solid set by this consummate and spirited artist.
Friday night, the festival continued with guitarist Paul Brown doing his own thing. He was supported by the house band (Martin Feske on guitar, Lutz Deterra on keys, Günter Asbeck on bass and Marcus Finnie on drums) who as always did a great job. He kicked off his show with Grover’s “Winelight”, followed by the cool “Brother Earl”, bringing things nicely up to speed. He slowed it down a bit with his cool cover of Mark/ Almond’s “The City”, before the pace picked up again with “The Funky Joint”, a track named after his studio. Then he invited singer Melina, his latest protégée, to the stage to do “Love And Trust” with him, before he delved deeper into his catalog with songs like , “Sugarfish” and “Foreign Exchange”, the title track from his collaboration album with Marc Antoine, with Martin Feske doing an excellent job taking care of his guitar part. Later he invited saxophonist Vincent Ingala to the proceedings,
Saturday evening, singer and keyboardist John Stoddart, who is a regular member of Kirk Whalum’s band, got his own slot at the festival. He appeared with Marcus Finnie on drums, Günter Asbeck on bass and Martin Feske on guitar, performing songs from his own catalog. He started his show with the appropriate “Lovely Day”, a classic penned by Bill Withers, with some audience singalong, followed by “Things Are Gonna Get Easier”. He slowed things down with “I Still Believe”, written on his 2nd wedding anniversary, when things weren’t going so easily, and “A Promise Is A Promise”, reaffirming his wedding vows. Staying in this mould, he did “You Are So Beautiful” that segued into “Send Me An Angel” with a great guest performance by Kirk Whalum who did a nice soprano solo. A highlight of the show was his cool and sexy “Tender Hearted Lover” with a walk into the audience serenading the women,
one doing a hot sax solo, before they returned for an encore, having all players on the stage, doing a great cover of “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now”, having people get off their seats.
Then rising star Vincent Ingala did his show. This young player is a very talented musician, has a lot of stage personality and knows how to work a crowd. He was supported by the house band (Finnie, Deterra, Feske and Asbeck), he went right into it with an energetic saxophone track that put us right in the mood, followed by his rendition of “If I Can Fly”. For the next track, he picked up the guitar and invited guest Paul Brown on guitar, to play a smashing version of People Choice’s “Do It Any Way You Wanna” with him, bringing the house down. As Vincent Ingala let us know his father was a DJ, and by going trough his well selected record collection, he discovered many gems from this classic era, turning him in a big lover of the Philly catalog, Motown and more, shaping his musical taste. Next was “Vintage Vibe” from his debut album, before he did the Moments classic “Look At Me, I’m In Love”, a song that just begged for a saxophone cover when he heard it the first time. One more great guitar track followed, showing his prowess on this instrument too, before he did his heartfelt version of Carlos Santana’s “Europe” on sax, a song that gave guitarist Martin Feske ample opportunities to add some great playing, making this a highlight of the show. He finished his show with Jr. Walker’s “What Does It Take To Win Your Love” and returned for an encore, playing M.F.S.B.’s “K-Jee” from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, showing his great taste and knowledge of music. This was one of the best shows of the whole festival for me. Sunday morning, Four80East appeared, the band hails from Toronto, Canada and is fronted by keyboardist Rob DeBoer and percussionist Tony Grace. They were accompanied by Marcus Finnie on drums, Günter Asbeck on bass, Martin Feske on guitar, plus local saxophonist Miguel Ramon. The groove went like a red thread through the show, having our heads bopping throughout, with tracks like “Sandbar”, “Montreux”, “En Route”, “Waterline”, “Noodle Soup” and more, especially fun was the track “Eastside” with the audience singing the vocal parts. Each player added some nice solos, especially Miguel Ramon on sax and Martin Feske on guitar were frequently adding their voices to the proceedings, while the two leaders impressed on keys and percussion, making this another entertaining concert.
The last performer of the festival was guitarist Chuck Loeb, who just flew in from NY the day before, he was in fine form and ready to play. With his wife being from Spain, he had personal relationship with this country and even addressed the audience in Spanish. He was accompanied by the house band (Finnie, Asbeck and Deterra), the first song played was “Silver Lining” from his latest release Silhouette, a song that would also be a perfect choice for Fourplay, the all-star band he also plays with. Next was one of his biggest smooth jazz hits, the awesome “The Music Inside”, where he pulled all the stops, before he got a lot jazzier with “Appreciation”. After having appreciated his love for James Taylor, he did his rendition of “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight” that went down very well, before he did the Joe Zawinul composition “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy”, made famous by Cannonball Adderley, with guest Paul Brown on guitar, which was another memorable performance. Then he played “Lucas”, dedicated to his daughters, that had an introspective intro, before the song built to a great climax. This song marked the end of his set, he returned for one encore together with Paul Brown, doing a Blues shuffle trading licks between guitars, plus some spirited solos by all members of the band. This great show was well received and marked the end of the festival. This was another exciting and memorable Smooth Jazz Festival Mallorca that provided many great musical moments, meeting artists and being among your fellow music aficionados from all across the world, making us a big smooth jazz family. Mark your calendar for next year’s 5th edition which takes place April 28 - May 1, 2016.

until his wife who was in the audience jokingly interfered, we all had a lot of fun. As a special treat, he performed a yet unrecorded song just accompanied by Martin Feske on guitar, before the pace picked up again with “More Than You And Me”, bringing a satisfying and entertaining show to an end.
