Kirk Whalum Receives the USCT Humanitarian Award
Congratulations to saxophonist/ composer Kirk Whalum for receiving the USCT Humanitarian Award! Presented by The Fuller Story, Kirk has been celebrated as a hero of the community of Franklin, TN! The USCT Humanitarian Award is given to recipients that have shown kindness and bravery, honoring African American heroes of the past and present. It is presented during three days of celebration and education events culminating with an unveiling and dedication of the bronze United States Color Troops Soldier Statue.
