Before the Duchess gets here. You see, I have a favorite pair of white gloves and can not find the match to the glove below. Can you find the match in the pile to the right? Reeling and Writhing, of course, and then the different branches of Arithmetic — Ambition, Distraction, Uglification, and Derision. I am trying to remember subjects that I was once taught back in my school days. Though something seems to be a bit off. I can’t quite figure out what it is. The words sound almost correct, but not quite. For sometimes I scramble my words. Letters beging to get mixed up. Could you help me unscramble the words to the right? 07

That depends a good deal on where you want to go. It doesn’t matter which way you go. I tend to vanish without warning but I need help making my way to the Queen croquet game. I can’t be late or she will shout “off with your head!” and I, of cource, do not want that to happen. Would you be able to guide me through the maze to the right? I would really appreciate it! 08

No wonder you’re late. Why, this watch is exactlytwo days slow. My watch seems to be stuck at 6 o’clock, old English tea time. Would you be able to help me fix it? Telling time is essential. How else will I be able to make sure that I am on time for tea? You can start by turning the clock hands to the times below.
7:30, 9:25, 5:15, 10:20, 8:45, 12:05, 3:10, 4:40 11

Begin at the beginning and go on until you come to the end: then stop. I come from a deck of cards, so generally, I enjoy playing games. I take pride in being able to trick and confuse. It is something that I find fun. You are my next target. See if you are able to answer my riddles to the right. But be careful! They tend to fool! 12
