Geiranger norway
The Arctic Circle Sunday, 7 June Flight to Copenhagen & embarkation Meet the tour leader at Malta International Airport early in the morning, for check in on your flight (with transit) to Copenhagen. Upon your arrival in Copenhagen airport, you will be transferred to the port for check-in formalities, to board Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas. Once on board, you are free to explore the facilities and décor of this magnificent floating resort. Get ready for the safety drill on board and then make sure you go on the upper deck to enjoy the experience as your ship leaves the port at 1700hrs. Monday, 8 June At Sea Sit back, kick off your shoes and put your feet up during your ‘at sea’ days, where you can chill in the bar, lounge by the pool or enjoy a relaxing beauty treatment in the spa. For simple pleasures, why not try a game of table tennis? Or if you’re feeling energetic, now’s the chance to explore all the amazing activities the ship has to offer, from spectacular, West-End-style entertainment to adrenalin-charged sports. Tuesday, 9 June Stavanger, Norway Be humbled by the awe-inspiring views of the Lysefjord, as you join today’s optional excursion. You will head to the port where a private boat will be waiting to take you on a three-hour journey around the Stavanger archipelago. As you enter the splendid Lysefjord, you will see one of the most spectacular sights in Norway Prekestolen or the Preacher’s Pulpit, which stands 460m above sea level. As you return to Stavanger you will be amazed by the spectacular natural wonders and scenery. Wednesday, 10 June Cruising the Arctic Circle A relaxing day spent crossing the Arctic Circle. The top of our planet features the otherworldly beauty of glaciers, vivid skies and unique wildlife, like the porpoises that race ships through these arctic waters. And nothing quite compares to relaxing on deck as you sip hot cappuccino and experience the phenomenal night skies of the Northern Lights! Thursday, 11 June Tromso, Norway Tromso lies north of the Arctic Circle, yet enjoys a milder

07 - 18 Jun climate thanks to the Gulf Stream. During your optional excursion, you will get close-up insights into northern Norway culture, stunning views from a quarter-mile high and the famed Arctic Cathedral. Explore Tromso Museum, with its exhibits on the Northern Lights and Lapland’s nomadic reindeer herders. Ascend 1,350 feet into the clear Arctic air on the Storsteinen Cable Car, with views that stretch for miles. Friday, 12 June Honningsvag, Norway On the northernmost coast of mainland Norway, the quaint fishing village of Honningsvag is your base for exploring the North Cape and experiencing Sami culture and Arctic wonders like the Northern Lights and Midnight Sun. On today’s excursion (optional) you will explore two of Norway’s North Cape fishing villages and a house full of Christmas treasures. Your tour starts with a drive through Honningsvag, gateway to the beautiful island of Magerøy, and winds along the Skipsfjord to Kamøyvær, the smallest of the island’s fishing villages. Saturday, 13 June At Sea Onboard, dining is about more than just food. Think ambience, variety and the flexibility to decide when and what you savor. From confectionery delights to California rolls, finger foods to a five-course gourmet meal, a Royal Caribbean cruise is a journey of culinary discovery. The innovative chefs, each trained and certified, will take your palate global with a lineup of complimentary and specialty options. Sunday, 14 June Alesund, Norway Your next port of call will be Alesund, one of Norway’s most picturesque and charming fishing ports. Enjoy a three-hour optional excursion that takes you from the Atlantic Sea-Park to a sightseeing drive around Alesund, enjoying sweeping views of the city from the Hessa viewpoint. As one of Northern Europe’s largest aquariums, the Atlantic Sea-Park showcases sea life from the Norwegian coast and fjords. Outside you’ll encounter Humboldt Penguins and see Harbor Seals splashing around the waters of Sealbay. You’ll then embark on a narrated sightseeing drive around Alesund, learning about the area’s thriving fisheries industry, hearing tales of the destructive fire of 1904, and
Jewel of the Seas admiring the distinctive Art Nouveau architecture that rose from the ashes. Monday, 15 June Flam, Norway A tiny village tucked inside Norway’s longest fjord, Flåm is known for its storybook setting and the thrilling railroad journey that showcases the surrounding splendors of mountains, waterfalls, calm lakes and bucoclic green valleys. All aboard one of the world’s most beautiful railways, for today’s optional shore excursion, climbing from sea level to staggering 2,800 feet. Flam Railway is a masterpiece of engineering, the steepest railway in the world that runs without a cable or rack wheels. On your journey upward, gain considerable altitude as you cross back and forth over rivers and through 20 tunnels. Don’t miss taking pictures of the incredible view from the thundering Kjosfossen waterfall. Tuesday, 16 June Geiranger, Norway Steep cliffs, sparkling waters, a quaint church, incredible fjord and mountain summit all combine to make this Geiranger kaleidoscope half day (optional) tour unforgettable. You’ll see a tiny village with the octagonal church tucked in the fjord’s cliffs. Your view of Geirangerfjord and mountains improves as the coach climbs along the winding mountain road, passing quaint farms and streams to Mount Dalsnibba’s 4500-foot summit. Bring your camera to capture this unforgettable view of pristine mountains, waterfalls and lakes Wednesday, 17 June At Sea Enjoy your last day aboard. Don’t miss out to shop for variety name-branded items and some last minute duty-free shopping. You will be instructed to leave your luggage outside your stateroom by midnight, as bags will be transported ashore by the ship’s personnel early next morning. Thursday, 18 June Disembarkation & Return flight Enjoy your last breakfast on board as your cruise holiday comes to an end. Once ashore a coach will be in attendance for your transfer to Copenhagen Airport for check in of your return flight to Malta (with transit). For sure, you will bring home with you beautiful memories of amazing places.

When calculating the charges, OTG takes into account the services saved and the possible other use of the services. OTG may claim cancellation fees expressed as a percentage of the travel fare according to the amount of notice given between cancellation date and departure date, as listed below. CANCELLATION FEES: 340 to 120 days: 119 to 90 days: 89 to 60 days: 59 to 30 days: 29 days of less:

BOOKING CHANGES Your booking can be changed upon request and will be subject to the availability (rebooking) at that time. This can be done until 30 days before date of travel. OTG charges the sum imposed by the relative cruises and airline companies. Should you wish to make a rebooking less than 30 days before date of travel, then booking changes can only be made, if at all possible, by cancelling the travel contract subject to the cancellation fees indicated above. Any form of alteration made to the date of travel, destination or place of commencement, accommodation, the cabin or mode of transport is considered as a change. Any special requests made by the passenger together with his booking shall be communicated by OTG to the carrier, however, unless the carrier shall have confirmed in writing to the passenger that such special request will be entertained, such special request shall not be a part of the booking or form part of the contract between the passenger and the carrier. In any case, OTG shall bear no responsibility or liability in relation thereto. REPLACEMENTS Up to the date of travel i.e. taking into consideration a reasonable amount of time for organisational matters, you may demand that a third party takes over all rights and liabilities of your travel contract with the Organiser/carrier. OTG reserves the right to decline making such a request on your behalf or that of the third party should the third party not meet the travel requirements or should there be legal restrictions or an official directive against his/her pArcticipation. Should a third party enter the contract then he/ she and you are liable as co-debtors for the travel fare and the additional costs caused by the third party entering in your stead. FLIGHTS The right is reserved to substitute alternative airlines and/or aircraft if necessary. Flight timings are subject to confirmation and alteration. Some flights may have intermediate stops en route and as factors effecting this are not always known before departure date we cannot always notify you in advance. Flights are subject to the granting of permits and licenses by authorities both in Malta and overseas. In the event of your flight arrangements being changed or cancelled as outlined in this section, we accept no liability for extra costs or consequential loss arising, directly or indirectly therefrom. The Traveller understands and agrees that these are issues beyond OTG”s control.. All flights are non-smoking. NAME CHANGES At time of booking all passengers names need to be submitted to OTG. Names need to be congruent with the valid passengers’ passports. OTG reserves the right to pass on the relevant charges applicable at the time for name changes after the option is confirmed, and the Customer shall pay the fee that shall be determined at time of name change particularly when flights are included. CHANGES The Cruise Ship Management reserves the right to change the itinerary for reasons including but not limited to bad weather or industrial action, in which case neither the cruise company nor OTG are liable to pay any form of compensation for the missed ports or the change of programme. If any portion of holiday is lost for reasons including but not limited to natural disasters, bad weather, industrial action, war, government restrictions or any matter of force majeure, neither The Cruise Ship Management nor OTG or their subcontractors can be held liable to pay compensation for damages incurred. In the event that a ship is prevented to enter a port in order to either embark (to start a cruise holiday), or disembark (to finish a cruise holiday) for reasons including but not limited to bad weather, industrial action, or such unexpected circumstances, OTG shall be responsible to convey the passengers to the next possible port of embarkation or disembarkation but it is also being hereby understood that neither The Cruise Ship Management nor OTG shall be liable to pay any expenses related to loss of holiday or other sorts of moral damages arising
from such circumstances since these are completely out of the control of both The Cruise Ship Management and OTG. Cancellation after date of travel Should you alter in any way your holiday after the date of travel then the charges for return transport and other additional costs will be charged to you as traveller. Other Cancellations Should travel be largely hindered, endangered or affected due to a force majeure (e.g. through war, natural disasters, government authority measures, transport embargoes, ship loss or other similar incidents) which were not predictable at the time of conclusion of the contract, OTG may cancel the contract. In the event of OTG cancelling the holiday prior to departure, the passengers receive a refund of all sums paid to OTG in full and final settlement for any and all claims that they might have. The Traveller is hereby expressly and explicitly renouncing to any right of action or claim for damages or other compensation that it may otherwise enjoy at law. Any claims relating to any cancellation and or delay in departure is to be addressed to the carrier or the terminal operator as per EU Regulation 1177/2007 and OTG shall bear no responsibility or liability were such cancellation or delay is solely attributable to the carrier or terminal operator. TERRORIST ATTACKS/CIVIL STRIFE Carrier will provide for the payment of compensation for passengers in the event of the cancellation or delay of a passenger service based on a percentage of the ticket price, except when the cancellation or delay occurs due to weather conditions endangering the safe operation of the ship or to extraordinary circumstances (including but not be limited to, natural disasters such as fires and earthquakes, terrorist attacks, wars and military or civil armed conflicts, uprisings, military or illegal confiscations, labour conflicts, landing any sick, injured or dead person, search and rescue operations at sea or on inland waterways, measures necessary to protect the environment, decisions taken by traffic management bodies or port authorities, or decisions by the competent authorities with regard to public order and safety as well as to cover urgent transport needs) which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Force Majeure OTG shall be released from any obligations assumed in terms of this Agreement if it is prevented from doing, accomplishing or performing any act or thing promised or required under the terms of this Agreement due to Force Majeure or circumstances that are out of its control. PASSPORT, VISA, CUSTOMS, CURRENCY AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS When requested, OTG will inform travellers of passport, visa and health requirements and possible changes thereof prior to starting the journey solely so far as these apply to citizens of Malta. OTG may delegate this instruction to a third party. OTG does not guarantee that the information that It provides is accurate, complete or that It may not be subject to change prior to travel. Travellers are encouraged to carry out ulterior checks with the respective authorities and entities. Travellers shall obtain their passport, visa, health insurance, vaccinations and any other documentation at their sole cost and expense and travellers shall be solely liable to obtain the foregoing. OTG shall in no circumstances be responsible for the obtainment of such. Citizens of other countries should check passport, visa and any other entry requirements with their own country’s embassy. When providing information, OTG assumes that there are no peculiarities in the customer itself and potential fellow travellers (e.g. dual citizenship, statelessness). The customer is responsible for obtaining and entrainment of required documents, potential mandatory vaccination as well as compliance to customs and exchange control regulations. Inconveniences that might accrue from non-compliance of these regulations e.g. payment of cancellation fees are for your account. OTG is not liable for changes in political circumstances or entry regulations, making an entry to the country or destination difficult or impossible. In the event that it is necessary to make changes we will always try to advise you in advance, but this cannot be guaranteed. All travellers (adults & children) must provide us with their full passport information at least 6 weeks prior to the travel date. For embarkation purposes only passports with a validity of 6 months beyond the return date will be accepted. ID cards, residence permits and driving licences are not accepted. RESTRICTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS OF CONVEYANCE It is important to note that for safety reasons infants under the age of 6 months are not allowed on board Cruise ships and passengers who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the time of their travel shall not be permitted boarding, even if they are willing to assume the risk themselves. Should a pregnant traveller who has not entered the 24th week of pregnancy (and would not be so doing while on board) assume the risk to travel, a medical certificate establishing due date and fitness to travel must accompany an expectant mother’s application for passage. It shall be the sole responsibility of the expectant mother to obtain such medical certificate. OTG shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage arising from the denied boarding or loss or damage attributable to the expectant mother’s failure to obtain the required documentation. Should an expectant mother choose to proceed with her booking, she will travel at her own risk and shall keep O.T.G. free and harmless from any claims arising from her pregnancy or anything related thereto. Any physical challenge or medical condition that requires special treatment or attention must be reported at the time of reservation. You are asked to complete the questionnaire provided by the Organiser/carrier in order to confirm compliance with the Organiser/carriers’ requirements. In such a case, conditions may be imposed for travel by the passenger in question and the reservation may be revoked or refused by OTG or The Cruise Ship Management if in their judgement the passenger is in physical or mental conditions which render him unfit for cruise travel. The reservation may also be revoked or refused if the passenger requires care beyond what can be provided by OTG or The Cruise Ship Management. must inform the travel agent at time of booking if you or any one of your group intends to take medical needles for syringes on board. Failure to present this notarised authorisation by the parents/ legal guardians will result in denied boarding for the minor. OTG shall not be liable for any loss or damages arising from the denied access, nor shall it be liable to refund any money or offer any other form of compensation whatsoever. It shall be the sole responsibility of the accompanying adult to carry out the necessary checks and to provide the necessary documentation. Children on board should be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, and are welcome at activities on board or at shore excursions provided that a parent or guardian is present. It is the guest‘s responsibility not to miss such final boarding time and the ship’s scheduled departure from the embarkation port. Any and all costs incurred as a result of not boarding the ship on time at the embarkation port shall be borne by the guest. In all ports of call you must return to the ship no less than one hour before the scheduled departure time. Please consider that shipboard and shoreside clocks may have different times, but it is the guest‘s responsibility to return to the ship so as not to miss the ship‘s departure. Any costs associated with transporting the guest to rejoin the ship including, but not limited to, government fees, visa fees, subsistence, lodging, air fare, launch fare, car hire or agency fees shall be borne by the guest. Loss or damage to baggage during embarkation or disembarkation must be reported. You are obliged to notify the relevant authority or an official agent thereof in writing. Should you not fulfil these obligations then you are not entitled to make a claim. Passengers’ own carrying, storing and handling of baggage on board the cruise vessel will always be at passengers’ own risk. ACCOMMODATION TYPES Passengers are advised that the cabins have 2 lower berths. In most of the cabins these twin beds can be pushed together to make a double. The 3rd and 4th beds can either be pullman beds (bunk beds) or sofa beds. The cabins are not suitable for 4 adults to share as cabin’s space is very limited. The bunk beds are not suitable for older passengers or for passengers with mobility problems. Note: room configurations and sizes vary by ship. Cabin numbers may not always be available. REPRESENTATION As specified, on respective programmes some cruises are escorted by an English speaking representative whose job is to assist during the cruise and land arrangements. The representative is under no circumstance responsible to carry out work (unless for emergency) over and above the official programme and is not obliged to accompany members of the group around shops, flea markets, theme parks or similar. CLAIMS Save as otherwise provided for in this Agreement, Claims and Complaints relating solely and exclusively to services offered by OTG (saving instances where liability is expressly excluded in this Agreement) are to be made in writing to OTG within fifteen days from arrival back to Malta.
