Day 03 - Bari, Italy
From Bari port you shall proceed to Alberobello, declared Unesco World Heritage site in 1996. You shall cross the town by walk to proceed along the national road in the middle of the Apulian countryside scattered with “trulli”. The ancient site, typical for its houses built in stones, used as animal stables and today transformed into family cottages where inhabitants run their trades activities. Your visit will give the opportunity to experience the reality of the village, knowing better the people and their life style. These constructions named “trulli” date back of VI and VII centuries. The typical cone shape roof has made them so peculiar that Unesco consider the old part of the village as monumental patrimony. You will have some free time to walk in the alleys and the tiny village before boarding the coach and driving back to the port.
Day 04 - Kotor, Montenegro
On your way to Budva you shall have a stop near the unique little island town of Sveti Stefan, connected to the shore by a causeway and crammed full of terracotta-
roofed stone dwellings. Gazing down on Sveti Stefan provides the biggest ‘wow’ moment on the entire coast but taking a photo is all you can do, as this tiny island is now the luxurious Aman resort, off limits to all but paying guests. You continue to Budva which is a vibrant coastal city with a modern flair. The old city of Budva is a small labyrinth of narrow lanes and we walk close to the Citadela, an ancient castle and the most significant fortification building of the Montenegrin Coast. Enjoy some free time discovering what this town has to offer: from a lively promenade filled with colourful coffee places and restaurants to old town filled with charming and tasteful souvenir shops. Back in Kotor, follow your guide on a walking tour of the city which boasts of Venetians architectural influences and is surrounded by an impressive, well preserved city wall protected by UNESCO. Once in Kotor you will soon see why the town was deemed a World Heritage Site as it offers its visitors a remarkably well-preserved town centre with important buildings such as the cathedral of Sveti Tripun. Savour the beautiful atmosphere of this true gem of town before returning back by tender boat to your ship.
Day 05 - Dubrovnik, Croatia
You start your excursion with a short 15-minute drive from the port of Dubrovnik to the Old Town where you have a short guided tour of the city, a city of unique beauty and harmony, spread out on the stone rocks and cliffs descending into the embrace of the sea and the waves. The main street is known as the Stradun and many of the city’s attractions are right here, including several monasteries, and the elegant 16th century Venetian Gothic Sponza Palace, once the city’s Custom House and notable for its fine courtyard columns and elaborate
Trieste Kotor Split Dubrovnik Baristone carvings. Dubrovnik’s famed symbol of freedom, a carved figure of an armoured knight, adorns the Orlando Column in a nearby square. After the walking tour you can enjoy some free time for souvenir shopping.
Day 06 - Split, Croatia
You will drive along the Dalmatian coast until you reach Trogir which is located on a small islet between the mainland of Croatia and the island of Ciovo. The historical center of Trogir is a unique monument of culture and is included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. You will walk with your guide through its narrow streets, taking you back in history as you pass stone houses, churches, palaces, monasteries, and city walls. You will stop at the main attraction of Trogir, the St. Lawrence Cathedral. Take time to enjoy the beauty of the Romanesque portal created by the local artist
Radovan. You then proceed to Split, Croatia where you shall admire the Diocletian’s Palace from the outside, which is located in the heart of Split and is on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. This palace is one of the largest Roman buildings which is still in use today. You will see one of the oldest cathedrals in the world, the Cathedral of St. Duje (Split’s patron Saint). You will also see the former temple of Jupiter which is now used as a baptistery. Your local guide will also show you one part of the old
town. Return to Split port.

Thu 04 Jul - Kobe
Kobe is the city on the north shore of Osaka Bay in central Japan, known for its signature marbled beef and scenic setting of mountains framing the harbor. You will be arriving around 08:00hrs and will have the rest of the day to discover this beautiful place since the ship will overnight in Kobe. It is a must to visit the Port Tower, completed in 1963, the 354-foot-tall, red steel-latticework tower has become the city’s most iconic landmark.
Fri 05 Jul - Osaka
See Osaka, Japan’s second largest city, and home to beloved historic sites, plus ancient weaponry and relics displays. Begin at Osaka Castle, built in the 16th century by Toyotomi Mideyoshi, the warlord who then controlled Japan, it offers extensive displays of weapons, armour, and folk life relics of that era. Then visit ancient Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine. Tour Osaka Castle, the city’s magnificent 16th-century gold and white landmark. The castle has undergone rebuilds and several renovations and the tower is now entirely modern inside and a museum, but retains its external citadels, gates, stone walls and moats. As you wander through each floor, you’ll be introduced to Japan’s ancient and modern history and culture. Enjoy the observation deck that offers a panoramic view of the city. Next, stroll through the Dotonbori district, a must-see for visitors to Osaka. Here you can experience the city’s well-known reputation as a foodie’s paradise. The streets are crowded with restaurants, bars, and streetfood stalls.
Sat 06 Jul – Kyoto
Explore Kyoto, the capital of Japanese culture. Sitting atop Mount Kiyomizo is Kiyomizo-dera temple. Head inside for a guided tour after soaking in the magnificent panoramic view of Kyoto city. Visit the famous Golden Pavilion, one of Japan’s most popular attractions. And don’t miss the gorgeous mirror reflection of the temple on the still pond in the garden - it’s one of the most stunning scenes you’ll ever see. Get to know this brilliant, vibrant city. Visit Nijo castle which is a part of world heritage. History and architect buffs will relish a tour of Nara and Kyoto’s ancient temples and shrines. In Nara, pass through torii gates to 768 AD-constructed Kasuga-Taisha Shrine and examine the unique roof, brilliant vermillion and green halls. Todaiji-temple in Nara Park is famous for its great Buddha.
The capital of Kochi Prefecture on the southern coast of Shikoku is small, friendly, and boasts several attractions of interest to travelers. Make sure to enjoy some Katsuo no tataki, Kochi’s most famous dish, and visit the temple and botanical garden at Mt Godaisan.
Mon 08 Jul - Hiroshima
While paying tribute to the infamous nuclear attack that destroyed the city in 1945, Hiroshima is now defined as a beacon of peace and prides itself on its exceptional natural beauty. See more than 300 cherry blossom trees in bloom at Peace Memorial Park, journey to the breathtaking Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island, and take time to sample “okonomiyaki”—a delicious example of Japanese soul food.

Thur 11 Jul - Kagoshima
Kagoshima is the southernmost city on Japan’s bullet train network and the capital of Kagoshima Prefecture. The city is often compared with its Italian sister city, Naples, due to a similarly mild climate, streets lined with palm trees, and Sakurajima,
Kagoshima’s version of Vesuvius. Near port, find the fascinating Kagoshima aquarium, traditional Senganen Japanese gardens, museums, the Shiroyama mountain-top park with a view over the city, and Yakushima Island, a registered world heritage site. Plus, an abundance of hot springs, mud baths, and spas to promote serenity and relaxation.

Today shall be another day at sea and so another day to relax and unwind!
Sat 13 Jul - Shimizu
On clear days, Mount Fuji (Fuji-san in Japanese) is
visible from as far as Tokyo, 60 miles away. When Japan’s highest mountain is capped with snow, it’s a picture-postcard perfect volcanic cone. One of the best-known symbols of Japan, this iconic mountain has been considered sacred since ancient times and was even forbidden to women until the early 1900s.
