THANK YOU The SMU Athletics Department is recognized nationally as having one of the most generous and supportive fan baseS in all of collegiate athletics. Even with this reputation,

facebook/smumustangs

I was both amazed and humbled by your support last year, as gifts to the Mustang Club increased nearly 60 percent over the previous year’s record of $3.3 million, achieving a new record of $5.3 million . On behalf of our student-athletes and coaches, thank you for your tremendous generosity.

Because of you , we were able to enhance the educational and athletic experience of SMU’s 424 student-athletes. Some of the more notable improvements include enhanced and redesigned academic support services , a more comprehensive nutrition and meal plan and, beginning this fiscal year, the ability to offer full cost-of-attendance to our student-athletes. Despite these improvements, the championship banners we raised and the fact that 12 of our 17 varsity teams finished in the top three in the conference, the achievements of which I am most proud are the 233 student-athletes who earned a GPA of at least 3.0 and the 74 who earned their diplomas.

SMU Athletics and the accomplishments of our student-athletes embody SMU’s message of “World Changers Shaped Here.” Gifts such as yours to the Mustang Club help provide the resources

academic,, social and athletic potential . With your gift, you are Shaping that enable our student-athletes to reach their academic

VALUE-ADDED be n efits of Giving In addition to supporting our 424 student-athletes, your gift determines your priority ranking and provides benefits exclusive to Mustang Club donors.

Priority Ranking All season ticket holders and Mustang Club donors have a priority ranking that is determined by their Mustang Club giving level and their Priority Points, which are earned through donations, ticket purchases and attendance at athletic events. A donor’s ranking is determined by giving level first, and then by Priority Points within that giving level. To increase your rank, you are encouraged to give at the highest level possible, as giving level is prioritized over points. The benefits chart has been modified with additional giving levels to allow more opportunity to improve your ranking. The priority ranking system is used to award and allocate tickets for high-demand events such as championship, bowl and away games, and amenities such as luxury suites, premium seating, parking and hospitality accommodations. The Mustang Club plans to launch a website this year that will be integrated into the ticket system’s Account Manager, enabling donors and season ticket holders to keep track of their ranking and learn how additional gifts will impact their position.

In Appreciation of Your Investment in the Mustang Club Every gift to the Mustang Club at the Red and Blue Level or above will receive benefits. Your donations will be included in the Priority Points calculation, and you will receive recognition for your gifts on the Mustang Club website. As a Mustang Club member, you also will receive exclusive invitations to special events throughout the year. Additional benefits are determined by giving levels noted on the following page.
