Have you ever wondered about the lives of snails, Their silly little eyes and their slimy tails? Here is a chance to meet with one, See where they slime to and have a little fun. Let’s go check it out and see what they do. We might find out things that nobody knew!

1

My name is Shelbert, a name you might want to tease, But I am braver than a flying trapeze! Don’t ever judge anyone by their looks or size, Once you know them, you might be pleasantly surprised.

2

Now I have an adventure for you, A tour, a trip, a spectacular view! So let the curtain be drawn and the ruckus begin, It’s time to do some slimin’, so come with me friends! We are really not what you’ve come to expect, I have to say we are extremely high-tech.

3

Now you see a shell, a purple pointy home, But I am quite happy in my cozy little cone. I have everything I want and all that I need, From cartoons to sports to something to read. Before we pack up and getting started looking, Let’s slime to the kitchen and see what’s cooking!

4

5

Now join me for breakfast, my favorite meal of the day, And no it’s not true that all we eat is just clay. I’m quite a big eater, a little bottomless pit, I can eat this whole stack until my shell doesn’t fit! Just pass me some gutter butter and a little bee sneeze, Before we head off to town to see the ladybug beauties. 6

7

Oh the hustle and bustle with bugs out and about, Where the polka-dotted ladies are all a knockout. To the Big Apple, the famous Man-Rotten, I promise this city will not be forgotten.

8

We better skiddadle and pick up the pace, Snails all love speed—let’s sign up for the race!

9

Off to the racetrack to see who’s the fastest, But there’s no need to worry, nobody can pass us.

10

Zip zip zoom! Hear those shells roar, You can’t possible still think we snails are a snore! After the race, we’ll all go exploring, To find an old ruin never gets boring.

11

Out in the desert they say there are sightings, Buried in the sand are ancient old writings. To understand them, you have to be schooled, They tell of a story when all snails ruled. I’ve had enough of this hot desert sun, Let’s go to the beach and have us some fun!

12

13

Surfin’ along with a couple of buds, You won’t believe what came out of the suds!

14

A giant creature with a mouth made of steel, We better catch this wave so we won’t be his next meal! Top of the water is no place to be, Let’s go down under and have a looksee!

15

Diving for treasure is a dangerous quest, Especially when a serpent is guarding the chest!

16

As much as I would love a sparkly crown, I’d better go up if I don’t want to drown! Take off your mask and grab your flashlight, We are off to a cave that is darker than night!

17

Deep underground where the sun doesn’t shine, Is a big, black world where creepy crawlies reside. Somewhere in the darkness I hear something coming, A creature whose web is never becoming! Let’s hurry up and get out of this hole, Off to the slopes with my tiny ski poles!

18

19

Put on your coat and get ready to throw, It’s every snail for himself out here in the snow. Spewing out snowballs is something we’ve mastered, You better duck or your face will get plastered!

20

This snowy ruckus is all good and dandy, But it sure can give you a strong urge for candy.

21

22

The smell of sweets, I am out of control, All I’ll take an ice cream, please, in a strawberry bowl. Smelly beans, moss malts, they make me so happy, That I’ll jump around like a slappy sappy pappy! Something else that makes me all goofy, The carnival is in town and the rides are all loopy!

23

Hop on a ride and hold onto your seat, Soon you’ll be wishing you didn’t have all that eat. These rides will throw you all up and around, I’ve heard of a snail ending up in the next town! All that excitement, I worked up a sweat, Time to cool off at a party that’s wet!

24

25

This slide is so fast that once in the shoot, You’ll zoom by at such speeds that a comet would salute. And just when you think you’re done with the fall, A frog spits in your face and you’re having a ball! Time to go up and take this all in, I just got a new ride that I want to take for a spin!

26

27

Floating up in the sky, we can see the places we’ve been, I hope this little adventure has left your face with a grin. All of this magic you see near and far, Happens every day in your very own backyard.

28

So listen to your parents and be good boys and girls, And go on grand adventures in your own little world.

29

Still think we’re boring?!

30

The end. Snails Rule. 31
