He had participated in most of racing, half pipe and slope styles in 1990 – 1997. He was the first snowboarders who crossed race on Blackcomb Mountain in 1991 and compete several half pipe contests in 1992 – 1997. He was interested in straight jumping more than half pipe. With his interest and intellectual ability, he won several awards and become the first guy to make a snowboard terrain park in Asahikawa Hokkaido Japan in 1994.
