As a curious kid, I’ve always been interested in how things work, how things are made, deconstructing stuff. Growing up, I got immensely invested in Art and Mathematics all the same. Hence the inclination towards designing human perception of space.

Agrahara
This proposal embodies a design for a brahmin family in the traditional Tamil brahmin style with modern elements. The structure is conceived in a linear manner with the longitudinal facades having no openings. The large windows on the transverse faces and the airy plans together ensure good air circulation and ambient lighting. The volumes merge into the surroundings as the visual connectivity is maintained throughout the structure and outside. The exterior comprises of subtle whites coupled with natural stone evoking a sense of oasis. The site : Tiruchirappalli Area : 1950 sqft
The concept revolves around bridging the gap between two main zones the entire house is divided into, the private and the public. A central courtyard is introduced to do so throughout its width separating the block and creating vistas into the public and private zones. Additionally this acts as a central tunnel enabling stack effect snice the plans are made to be airy so the air circulation is unobstructed and there’s ample light.

Site analyis of Kodaikanal solar observatory site
Coco
Port
The direct relationship between producer and consumer is now separated by an everexpanding line of middle-man entities including distributors, processors and retailers. The local food movement demonstrates the individual and commercial consumer demand to change this relationship, Food hubs have the potential to alleviate this bottleneck of inefficiency by consolidating supplies into shared facilities for local farmers. Additionally, cocoa is least encouraged in the country despite having the suitable climate in parts like Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka due to less awareness among the farmers, locals and no education on it from the government, solving which could decrease the gap between consumer base and producer base in India leading to upliftment of local chocolate industries and farming. This calls for an architectural intervention for the issue mentioned through good industrial design which also aims at advancement of factory architecture that is still at the developing stage in the country while creating awareness of the process that goes into it among the tourists and locals. To create a space containing all the activities pertaining to a manufatured food product, from its production to its uses. • To provide a platform for small confectionary businesses and showcase. • To create interactive informal spaces with means of interation between the retail, commercial and industrial spaces The site : Kodaikanal Area : 27 Acres

This is done to restrict user movement and direct them towards the place they’re meant to head towards. The entire complex is based on a strict user experience since the process of transformation of a cocobean to a dish is to be experienced by the visitor. Therefore, the visitor has to be compelled to choose one certain space over another.

The first space the visitors encounter as the beginning to the entire tour. This space forms the basis to set a theme for the tour leading to the cocoa fields and the chocolate factory next The welcome centre is where the visitors are received. Divided into two levels, the welcome centre cotains the reception desk on the first level whereas the welcome goodies and the waiting lounge on the second level.

the Incubation kitchens
Incubation Kitchens are places leased to chefs that they cook and innovate in using chocolate. These dishes are then displayed in the gastro galleries Incubation kitchens are arranged in individual blocks. The proximity on one kitchen to the next has to be low. Each block is placed on a different level from another block, having flights of stairs in between.

The gastro galleries are spaces where the chef from the incubation kitchens exhibit their experiments. Divided into three parts, the gastro gallery spaces take up two vertical levels. The first gallery is concentric circular in shape with a circlation core in the centre leading to the second gallery which is 6000mm high. The second gallery is linear which has a second core leading to the third gallery on its other end. The third gallery is an arch that sits on the ground the third gallery also contains offices which have a different entrance.

Louis i kahn trophy 2017 Special Mention
Melukote, a sacred temple town down South in Karnataka is richly endowed with numerous ponds that in the yesteryears served as source of water for many years. It was an indigenous system of interconnected ponds with a rich mythological history that attracts pilgrims all though the year. The main shrine perched at the top of a hillock stands as testament against the sands of time proudly proclaiming the superiority of the traditional knowledge systems.
Louis i kahn trophy 2017 Special Mention
The Brief of the LIK trophy 2018 called for the documentation of structures of administrative and public power. Essentially, structures which resonated the spirit of democracy. The site chosen by us was the Telangana Legislative assembly previously known as the Mehbubiya Town hall. This site had it’s own unique significance. It was unlike any other structure because it was a building gifted to the then nizam of Hyderabad by his own people. This publicly funded structure was used as the town hall for the hyderabadis up until independence, after which it was adapted to function as the Legislative assembly of the state. These factors combined together satisfy the ultimate triangle of democracy. With people, power and symbol being it’s vertices which provided the key unlocking the puzzle of democracy the Brief set up.
