WHO CARES ABOUT WATER?

“SPOTTING AND REPAIRING A LEAKY LOO CAN BE VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD”

We do not have an endless supply of water - it is an increasingly vulnerable natural resource, even in the UK. We spoke to the Bathroom Manufacturers Association about how we can help make a difference to water consumption in the bathroom.

T H R E E K E Y F A C T S :

THE UK’S GROWING POPULATION AND DRYER SUMMERS MEAN WATER SUPPLIES ARE BEING STRETCHED AROUND 250,000 NEW HOUSES ARE BUILT EVERY YEAR, AND THEY ALL NEED A CLEAN AND RELIABLE SUPPLY OF FRESH WATER

CURRENTLY, IN ENGLAND WE EACH USE AN AVERAGE OF 140 LITRES OF WATER A DAY. THIS NEEDS TO DECREASE TO AROUND 110 LITRES TO BE SUSTAINABLE

A LEAKY LOO!
