Collecting sweeper Snowek collecting sweepers are designed for efficient area cleaning. Designed based on customer feedback and notions on street sweeping, Snowek street sweepers offer dust-free sweeping, the best cleaning results on the market and the kind of efficiency usually only found in contractor grade equipment. Collecting sweepers are manufactured in three different sizes. Sweepers can be used in 3,5 – 20 ton base machines.

Turning side brushes together with innovative design of dust container ensure the best cleaning results on the market.

The hydraulic systems are designed so that all the functions of the sweeper, including lifting, lowering and stopping side brushes, can be used without leaving the cabin.

Collecting sweeper can be tailored to meet requirements of every user. For example pressure washer is handy when cleaning bus stops and hydraulic vibrator ensures that dust container empties fast.

Robust structure

The frames of all Snowek sweepers are galvanized, which makes them highly resistant to bumps and scratches, while also providing a good level of rust protection.

With a minimum hydraulics output requirement of only 35 l/min, Snowek collecting sweepers can be used even with small base machines.

Fast service The main sweeper roller features a flexible connection, which makes replacing bristles extremely fast. One man can change the bristles with in an hour!

AH – Rotary broom

Excavator broom

Snowek AH-series rotary brooms provide cost-effective cleaning of sand, litter and snow. Brooms are excellent choices for efficient sweeping with wheel loaders or large farming tractors. AH-series rotary brooms can be equipped with either a traditional water injection system or with a modern high pressure dust suppression system.

Snowek excavator brooms can be used with any vehicle that has a dedicated boom, such as excavators and backhoe loaders. Excavator brooms are often used to clean hard-to-reach places, such as stairs, blast-site drilling holes, railway switches and fences.

Powerful shock absorbers together with +/- 10° horizontal float and 30cm vertical float keep the sweeper steady in all conditions.

Two hydraulic motors ensure that the broom keeps spinning smoothly, even under high stress.

Snowek – Solution to street dust problem Did you know that high pressure dust suppression reduces harmful PM10 emissions by 52% compared to a traditional dust controlling techniques? High pressure dust suppression system enables dust free sweeping and better sweeping result compared to a traditional water injection systems. The efficiency of the system is based on a water cloud around side brushes and inside the dust container. Water cloud does not wet the surface but still ties the road dust efficiently. The cloud is formed by spraying water through air induction nozzles with 150 bar pressure.

Dust suppression system – Proven to be efficient Field tests carried out by Snowek Oy and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in August 2013 showed that high pressure dust suppression system reduced harmful PM10 emissions during road sweeping by 52% compared to a traditional water injection and by 82% compared to a situation where no water was used to prevent dust emissions. Dust suppression system is available for all Snowek sweepers All Snowek sweepers can be equipped with high pressure dust suppression system. The benefits of the systems are the same no matter whether we talk about collecting sweepers or rotary brooms: Dust free sweeping, low water consumption and possibility to sweep also in sub-zero temperatures are common features for all Snowek sweepers.
